I attended the Friday Night Flights event with some friends and family. It was a great experience and the setup was awesome. The fact that is was at an airport made it even better. My grandkids got to watch airplanes and helicopters take-off and land. The space was spotless and the staff was extremely professional. I also learned that they rent their space for weddings and parties. Looks like I found a place for my company holiday party. I highly recommend this experience. We took our family to their Friday Night Flights and enjoyed the movie, popcorn, and lawn games! My niece (age7) and nephew (age8) had so much fun from when we arrived at 6:30 until we left at 10:30pm. They didn't get bored, Hangar21 made sure there was plenty to do. The price point of their event was sooooo affordable, and the helicopter tours were the best part of the day! It's a short trip around Fullerton but for someone who just wants to try what it's like to be in a helicopter, this is the best way to experience it! The staff were all friendly and amazing, checking in to the event was easy, the food, popcorn station, and helicopter check ins were spread out so it didn't feel crowded. Restrooms are super clean! I entered a social media contest and won 3 GA tickets and helicopter rides, plus parking, as part of their #FridayNightFlights. It was their first summer showing and Little Rascals played.I'm going to start with some minor negatives, just because I believe there are ways the business can improve overall, but I still stand behind my 5-star rating. You do not need to pay for parking. Eventbrite does sell spaces up close for $10, but it's not required. There are plenty of spaces in a short walking distance. The general admission price supposedly gets you free popcorn and candy. It's misleading as it sounds like that is per person. However, I had won for 3 people and brought my cousin. Still, the concession gals stated it's actually one tiny bag of popcorn and a box of candy per family. That should be listed in the event details. The 3-minute helicopter ride feels more like 10 minutes and is worth every penny, but it is disappointing that they still run them at night when you're straining real hard to hear the movie. Checking in so early between the required 6:30-7:00 PM made no sense as we got bored waiting for the movie to start and the choppers ran into the night during the flick. OTHERWISE, everyone should check this place out!While there were mainly families attending, the option to BYOB, enjoy a local food truck, listen to music, snap some cool airport photos and a sunset, play neat games like Jenga, Connect Four, and Corn Hole, plus watch a movie outdoors is real fun! It's great for couples, GNO, and more. The people we encountered with spectacular with their customer service. For us, that included Dusty, Samantha, and our adorable pilot Chris. My cousin has anxiety and is also afraid of heights. I've been in a helicopter before and just knew she'd love it and wanted her to conquer that fear. The ladies were great explaining how smooth it is and it's almost like playing a video game. Chris was also very kind, knowledgeable in what he does and explained what we were looking at from above. Wow! So cool Southern California living! Helicopter rides,outdoor movie experience, food truck and BYOB! A once in a lifetime experience at a very affordable price! I surprised my son for his birthday, and he is hard to impress as he isn't into animals, sports or other typical boy stuff. This fun little venture was so successful, it made a lasting impression and an unforgettable bonding experience for my son and I. The service was seamless, and the staff was welcoming for even shy or awkward individuals like myself. I loved everything, although I did get lost in the beginning. This was a great choice for a birthday gift for my wife. She was extremely grateful and loved the experience. For anyone that is wanting to do this, make the reservation for an hour . Thank you SO SO SO much for the most amazing experience!!! You have the best people here, Mike truly made our entire proposal experience so wonderful. The helicopter ride was so great and amazing, the location really gives you the best view of the city and the coast. The pilot was so friendly and gave us all of the details of where we were going, he was very experienced.After the ride, mike opened the venue doors to the cutest set up, and when we asked him jokingly if he could bring the heli inside so we could take pics he literally brought the helicopter inside for us to set up next to the poster!!! I had a lot of fun! This was my first time on a helicopter. We did the one hour tour with the beaches and LA. We got to flyover Knotts Berry Farm, The Huntington Beach pier, by the Queen Mary, by the Hollywood sign, and down town LA where they have all those sky scraper buildings. Honestly I forgot our pilots name tbh, but my boyfriend gathered a lot of info from him though, because some day my bf wants to get a pilots license as well.(: This tour was actually a surprise for my boyfriends birthday since I knew that he loves airplanes. The parking is not hard to find, it's right in the front. Just park your car get out and walk to the black gates and ring the door, someone will come out and get you. We arrived like 15minutes early and got to hang out in the waiting area where they had snacks and you have a view towards the run way with helicopters. Over all it was awesome I would come back again. The only thing is I did get motion sickness towards the end of our flight, I didn't through up or anything but I just felt sick after for like 30 minutes or so. Also the weather was sunny, which I was so happy about because all week it had rained in so cal and the weather app had said it was going to be mostly cloudy. Thank god it was nice weather! Myself and two friends recently did a photo tour over downtown LA (doors off baby!) and it was the experience of a lifetime! Mike, who checked us in was really friendly and professional and our pilot, Mark was absolutely the best and was so interesting to talk to about all of the different sights along the way as well as aviation in general. Had a great time at hanger 21 our pilot was very informative and the helicopter was very smooth. We did the 60 min beach and La tour which was very worth it very beautiful went over Knotts berry farm down the coastline from Huntington to Santa Monica got super close to the Hollywood sign then turn saw dodger Stadium to LA then zipped back to Fullerton. The cost/price was very upfront and fair it was worth it for what you get out of it. I would recommend 60 min tour so there is no rush for all the sight seeing me and my girlfriend had a blast for her 22 second birthday here at hanger 21 More...

I planned a proposal for me and my gf and everything turned out just as I imagined. We showed up, I had her blindfolded and Jenifer made sure everything was in order. What I like the most is that we didn't have to wait and everything was on time. The helicopter had a big banner saying "will you marry me" in front of it and they had champagne and chocolate strawberries waiting for us. The helicopter ride was amazing they took us by the coast for 45 minutes. Our pilot was awesome and I'm very glad the helicopter had AC. Best experience for both of us . Definitely a day to remember. Hangar 21 is a gem of it's own. It's UNLIKE ANY other wedding venue out there, and it's super gorgeous. It's a blank canvas that can be transformed into ANYTHING. There is also so much space to move around. Designs for the venue are super versatile. Parking was super easy - they had valet options and self parking too. During sunset, the venue looked even more beautiful - the sun complimented it even more. More than that, the staff is amazing and super accommodating! Their customer service A++. So my wife surprised me with a beautiful helicopter ride for our first year wedding anniversary. Can't say enough good things about this company. We were traveling from Utah with some friends that have never been to Southern California. We last minute looked into helicopter rides and this company came recommended. They were able to accommodate us last minute and it did not disappoint. Everything from booking to landing was smooth. Overall amazing experience! I booked a tour as a belated Christmas present for my husband. I will say it took three calls over the course of three days to get someone to pick up, that may be the only negative comment I have. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and taken into a nice office to fill out some paperwork. We were also given some ice cold water, which was necessary on a warm sunny California afternoon. Our pilot was amazing! He took us over Downtown LA and had funny and informative facts about all of the sites. He also made sure we had perfect views for our photos. When we first got here, we were confused as to where to park. However, there is parking on site and someone will open the fence for you to drive in. If you're early, you can wait in the hangar and it will actually open so that you can enjoy the breeze and the entire scenery of the runway.I LOVED every second of this tour! We did an hour tour around LA and I was amazed seeing all the homes and land I never knew about. The take off and landing is really subtle...a lot better than flying in a plane, in my opinion. The best part was probably flying across the ocean in Santa Monica and seeing the sunset.   ADAM was the best tour guide! If you ever have a pleasure of having him as a guide, guarantee you will have a great time. He is very knowledgeable about the area and will point out a lot things. I bought this Groupon for my dad for Father's Day and he LOVED it. Shopping for my dad is hard to do especially since he doesn't really ask for anything (that's all dads right? ) My dad has served in the US Army for 25 years and he always loved being in the helicopters.
