I hired Armando and his company to paint my living room about a year ago and was so pleased with his crew, work ethic and professionalism that I just had my dining room painted after a roof leak and damage to the ceiling. HIs crew (Jaime & Hector) worked tirelessly to finish the job in two days, carefully moving all my craftsman furniture, prepping all the areas so that there was minimal dust through out the house, removing window and door hardware (hinges had been previously painted) so that they could clean them and reinstall after the paint job, and pretty much doing anything I asked (touch up some other spots in the house that had been chipped). They were here daily at 7:00 am ready to work! Â Armando takes pride in a job well done and I also like the fact that Armando is a "local" company which I am inclined to support. Â The clean-up was meticulous and they even hung my shades back on the windows which I did not expect but greatly appreciated. Â In a day when it is so difficult to find good contractors, I was very fortunate to run across this company. Armando checked 2-3x per day on the crew, making sure I was happy with the work and he actually works with his crew (drilling for the installation of hinges for the doors and installing smoke alarm and cleaning when the job was completed). Work done:  EXTERIOR WOOD AND TRIM - Prep and paint all exterior wood, roof metal and metal wrought iron.  Including eaves, fascia boards, wood  trim around windows, patio canopy and front door.  EXTERIOR STUCCO - Prep and paint exterior stucco.After interviewing and obtaining estimates from various companies, I met with Armando Ruiz, Hands on Painting's owner.  I chose Hands on Painting, Inc. as I was impressed by Armando's professionalism, punctuality, attention to detail, and quick response.  Armando did a great job coordinating the project and keeping in touch from beginning to end; he was highly responsive to my requests adding them to the project whenever feasible.  In the event of some left-over paint, I mentioned to Armando that I could use it later to paint a 6-foot utility table and an interior attic door.  Not only did Armando remember my "left-over-paint" request but he actually took initiative to ask his crew to paint those items for me.  He even offered to install new front door locks "I" had purchased on my own!!!  THANK YOU Armando!  During the project, I also had the pleasure to interact with Jaime, his crew supervisor who was highly respectful and accommodating.  He and the crew worked diligently throughout the project.  They did a fantastic job.  Armando came to the site each day making sure all was progressing according to plan.  Had a couple of minor issues on the second day but they were immediately resolved; it is obvious that customer service is #1 on Hands on Painting's list!  As they were working, it was a pleasure to observe the crew's interaction; they were professional and treated each other with respect.  I am extremely satisfied with the workmanship, care, professionalism, quick response AND customer service.   THANK YOU VERY MUCH Armando, James, Hector, Alex and others who were part of the crew for a JOB WELL DONE!  They completed the job one day ahead of time.  Love my new exterior painting AND the positive experience of having done business with Hands on Painting!!!  Without reservation, I recommend Hands on Painting for punctuality, high quality work, efficiency, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I love DIY projects, well more like managing I rather than actually having to do the work! In my mind, painting is super easy, but the reality of actually doing it correctly and precisely is on a whole other level. Painting a 10 x 10 room is nothing compared to a 25,000 square foot building exterior or a 10,000 square foot interior. This is where the professionals come in! Armando of Hands On Painting has over 30 years experience and certainly knows how to execute the job properly, professionally and beautifully! Hands On Painting was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive, they were somewhat in the middle when it came to price. I have a personal conviction that you really do get what you pay for and I will usually not lean towards the cheap based upon my experiences in working with contractors. I highly recommend Hands In Painting for your painting projects, especially if you're that person that gets more paint on you than on the wall! More...

I interviewed 8 painters and decided to go with Hands on Painting. A few did not have up to date licenses and workman's comp insurance. Was down to 4 painters now. Armando is local and I love to support local businesses. He was not the lowest price but not the highest. He worked with my hectic schedule and was understanding of my family's health issue going on which put him on top. His crew was respectful and did a great job! Â Their clean up could've been better but once I told Armando he took care of it! Â Armando also did extra work here and there which was helpful being a single mom. Armando stuck to his quote and did not do extra and tack it on afterwards. I've experienced contractors quoting me a price then tripling the cost at the end without warning. Standup company and have already recommended him to 2 of my clients (they know I'm very thorough when choosing a service). Â I need some handwork done on some rentals and will definitely hire him! Armondo, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He listened to what we wanted to have done and came back to us with a very reasonable and complete quote in a very short time. He used high-quality paints intended for the materials they were painting (long wrought iron fencing and two metal gates, and block and smooth concrete walls). Â The two painters who worked for Armondo were very skilled, punctual, efficient, hard-working, and were very careful. The company did quality work. After the job was done, Armondo himself inspected they work and was even more meticulous than we are (and we're perfectionists). The best part was that Armondo was able to resolve a problem we are having with our main gate for a long time. He figured out what was wrong, came up with solutions, then got the supplies, and fixed the gate all in record time. Â We are very satisfied with the work Hands On Painting did for us. More...

Armando and his crew did an excellent job painting our home exterior and detached garage as well as sealing our new slat gates. Â We had some old wood gables that we weren't sure could be saved, but the crew rescued them with great care during the prep work. Â The work crew showed up on time every day and worked very hard, maintaining quality and attention to detail throughout the entire job. Â The day after the job was done, we were sitting out on our front porch, and one of our neighbors told us our house made her hungry because it looked like a delicious chocolate sundae. Armando Ruiz was just wonderful. Â I needed to have the living room, dining room stairwell and hallways painted. Â He is an excellent communicator, and was able to provide expert advice and guidance about colors and the kind of paint to use. Â He delivered what he promised, in terms of the times when the painters would be there, and how long the job would take. I can't say enough great things about Armondo and his crew. My schedule was very hectic and he came on a Sunday (On time!) to give me a proposal for the inside and outside of my house . He was extremely professional and thorough and we felt very comfortable with the price he came in at. All the other painters never showed up and the ones that did gave us an inflated price. Everyday he was not on time, he was early and ready to go at our agreed time. He was meticulous on preparation and clean up. Armondo also did handyman work through out the house. I have found that very few company's these days deliver what they say they will, that is why I'm more than happy to leave a stellar review and would recommend Hands on Painting to everyone. Armando and the team were professional and courteous. He was patient with us too as we changed our minds on color a couple times. We had lots of ivy that needed removing and some wood trim above the garage door. He did all that work in addition to the painting. Armando even helped us hang some Christmas lights on our newly painted little house.
