I celebrated my birthday here and everything was excellent. Hamir spent time at our table and you can see the pride he takes on his work and his diners. We had our first dinner out after a new baby and they treated us so well! The food is just exceptionally tasty and flavorful. I ordered for the first time tonight with a friend who had enjoyed Hamir's food before. I can't say enough about the food. It was wonderful! I even met Hamir when we came to pick up our dinner. We were looking for something different to have for dinner. I searched online for “best restaurants in York,PA” and when I saw Hamir’s on the list, I also remembered that friends had mentioned how good the food was, so we decided to give it a try. This place is amazing...the food was delicious with a good variety and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Our server, Deborah, answered all of our questions, since we’re not really familiar with Indian fusion. We were extremely satisfied with our dinners! Hamir came to our table to introduce himself and went over and above to ensure that we were happy with everything. Tonight, my husband and I stopped by Hamir's for dinner, and it was phenomenal! The first thing that you notice when you walk in is the smell - it was amazing! The second thing you notice is the decor, which is cozy and inviting. And our experience only got better from there. To start, this was our first time trying Indian cuisine, and the staff did a great job of informing us of the different flavor combinations and menu options. They started by bringing us a sample of the different curry sauces so we could get a better idea of what we liked. They also told us that we could customize the level of spice in the sauces, which makes the curries palatable for people with varying levels of heat tolerance. But even without the added spice, they were all delicious. In the end, we couldn't decide what we liked best, so we ordered a variety of foods, including the brussel sprout appetizer, the chai tea and mango lassi to drink, and the Thali, which is a sampler platter. Everything was very fragrant and flavorful! There wasn't one thing that we ordered that we didn't like. In addition to the amazing food, the service was the best that I have ever had in a restaurant. The owner/chef came out to greet us. He spoke with us about the curries and told us about traditional Indian cuisine. He even came out to chat with us off and on throughout our meal since it was nearing the end of the night. We carried on some easy conversation with our waitress, too, which added to the welcoming feel of the place. And she recommended their lemon bars for dessert, which were a great end to the meal. Overall, I can't say enough about this experience. You can tell that their goal is to provide great food and service, and they excel at it. We will most definitely be back again! More...

We stopped by Hamir’s Indian Fusion for lunch today. This was our first time to try Indian-Fusion. We were not disappointed! Sampled the curries, started with Potato Flats for an appetizer. Very tasty! Then Jay had the Tandoori Chicken Wrap and I had the Indo-Thai Shrimp. Both were excellent! Even ordered dessert - Lemon Bars, they were delicious. The owner/chef stopped by to chat with us and our server was attentive and pleasant -Lauren Van Pelt. Thanks for a great experience. We will definitely be back again. My daughter brought me here, as it is one of her fav spots in York. Our server was amazing- very knowledgeable! We ordered the sampler because everything sounded so good! Upon being seated, a sample of three dishes was placed On the table- all were amazing! The food is fresh, and has a robust flavor. We were so impressed that we ordered to go items for dinner! I took my daughter here for her first experience with Indian cuisine. It was my first time at this restaurant as well. Hamir's did not disappoint! We had the samosas for an appetizer, Tikka masala with chicken, coconut curry with shrimp and for dessert we had lemon shrikhand bars. The food was so full of flavor. Lauren, our server, was very nice and knowledgeable. The chef also came to the table and chat a bit too. I highly recommend coming here. when you walk in You can immediately smell the food in the air, the menu was very defined and also told you everything that you would be getting with the small description and the pricing was very affordable. Our server was phenomenal with any questions we had she had all the answers, and I was also informed that they sell their curry by the quart there so that was also very nice to know. It's roomie, clean restrooms and it was a super personal experience for us. Wow, just wow. Amazing flavor for the peanut curry and mango curry. We came for vegan night and it was our anniversary! Great hospitality! Fried brussel sprouts were outstanding. One of the few meals I've ever had where I literally felt the need to say "yummm" after almost every bite! We've had multiple amazing dishes but my absolute favorites now have to be the Indo-Thai Shrimp and the Coconut Curry Paneer. They have flavors like no other!

The food is always SOOO good! It was one of our favorite places in York for date night (before quarantine). Hamir always comes out and asks you how your meal is. ..just overall a great spot. We have done carryout several times during this quarantine too and it tastes the exact same! If you like custard ..you HAVE to try the Mango Custard dessert.
