Halfmanns went above and beyand to get me a cake that I wanted. I had to have the cake within a day and they were able to make it and the cake turned out beautifully. Thank you ladies. Was a hit!

I ordered my daughter's college graduation cake from here and it was beyond great. The cake it's self was so moist the whipped frosting was awesome and the decoration of the cake was down to the T.

We live in Granbury, Texas, but anytime we are in the San Angelo area we always have to stop for some of those delicious Ranger Cookies. I love Halfmann's!! They made the most awesome, incredibly decadent chocolate inside, chocolate outside and chocolate on top cake for my retirement party. It was simply divine. And I could eat my weight in all of their cookie varieties.

But what is really special about Halfmann's is their people. The customer service is excellent. Kara works hard to please each individual's request. Halfmann's has always given my family great cakes. We live about 80 miles from Angelo and we have not been disappointed with the delivery of our cakes. For my wedding cake I came in with an idea and a request for something off the menu. I wanted a dessert called, pavlova, and when I came in to taste test this I was very pleased with their version. The pavlova and cake arrived on time, tasted great, and looked beautiful. I am very happy with my experience and the willingness of the staff to make my wedding day great the day after Thanksgiving. The cake was decorated nice, just how I ordered. The taste was devil's food chocolate and it was good. The worst part was in the gum paste flowers there were wire in all of them and all my guess had metal wire pokey thing's in their mouth.

I'm from California I guess she's never had a complaint about that before but we always eat the flowers. They took care of me and apologized. They were so sweet and generous. But I was disappointed that I was not informed about the metal wire pieces in all my flowers that some guests may have ate. The whole cake was full of flowers so it was hard to get a slice with not a flower on it. If I ever return to Texas I will give them another try and change the flavor of the cake. More...

I ordered a cake and mini pies (instead of a grooms cake) for my wedding from that I had in October in Fredericksburg. Not only were they the best tasting, but they were the nicest and easiest people to deal with. They were so accommodating and were very willing to figure out how to get my cake to Fredericksburg. My now wife and I decided to go with Halfmann's Cake Cottage to provide a small wedding cake (for the bridal party) and cupcakes (for everyone) for our wedding. Being a designer, she came up with a really neat design for the cake, a small two-tier, with blue and white frosting in swirls and gradients with sugar pearls, and the cupcakes were designed to match. They faithfully recreated this design, and not only that, everything was quite delicious. We went with lemon, strawberry, and chocolate cupcakes for the guests, and they were an enormous hit.
