By mistake ( which turned out to be an awesome mistake ... ) I choose Haldas for my husbands intimate 65th party. I live in Chesapeake City so, it's a ride. Well ...... I have no problem assigning 5 starts to the food we enjoyed!   I ordered  lemon chicken, meatballs, string beans w. almonds and ceasar salad. Simple, easy delicious. Haldas did not disappoint. OMG, it was all sooooooo good. Almost every guest went back for seconds. Haldas, I normally use you for the custom cuts and high quality meats you provide, I will return when we plan another party. Haldas cooked fillet is fabulous! I ordered a tray of cooked sliced fillet for a casual dinner party last weekend and it was a huge hit! The meat was seasoned deliciously, cooked perfectly, not an ounce of fat, and every slice was the same size which was great for sandwiches. They provided hoarse radish sauce which was the perfect compliment. I served it with fresh rolls, scalloped potatoes, crab cakes, and Caesar salad. People raved about the menu, and the fillet truly made the meal! I almost bought the fillet from Costco to cook it myself. Ordering from Haldas cost more, but it was so worth it not to have to prepare, cook, and slice the meat, and I didn't have to worry about over or under cooking. Ordering from Haldas allowed me to relax and enjoy my party. I will definitely be ordering again next time I entertain! More...

Great meat, they deliver what they promise! Every other year we part from the traditional turkey and ham for xmas dinner and make a filet roast or a prime rib, always get it from Haldas and it is always great. They know their meat and their friendly, rare in this day and age. Not too many pure butcher shops around anymore, this is one of the best! More...

I stopped into Hadas for some filet mignon on Valentines Day - and was able to pick out the cut of meat I liked then had it cut into the sizes that I wanted. The meats all looked fresh and the service friendly. I grilled the filets and they were melt in your mouth good! This is my new go to for all my meat needs.Great butcher! All I have to say is BACON.  Thick cut and just right, not too salty or smokey, and cooked up with minimal shrinkage.  The rest of their meats are tasty too, but can be a little pricey (but worth it).

MMMmmm beef!! Been coming here every year for our annual New Year's Eve fondue beef. 20lbs and growing each year. They recommend the best taste and over the years have perfected the right size cubes for our fondue. After a few times passing by, I finally got a chance to stop in yesterday.  Folks...there aren't many "old school" butchers around anymore, so treasure them while they are here.  Haldas Bros. is one of them.  I talked to the owners for a bit, they do everything on premise.I grilled up a few of their rib eyes tonight, and "Oh my...", truly among the best steak I found around.  The prices are very reasonable, and the quality is top notch.
