Rose did such an amazing job doing my hair today for my brothers wedding. I showed her pictures of ideas of what I was looking for and she did even better in person. I waited till the end of the day to post this just to see how well my hair would hold up and it completely did stay in place the entire night. Rose, by any other name, would still kick ass on your hair color and cut.  I arrived in San Diego to visit my family in a very unfortunate hair situation.  My greys were showing and my cut was a bit scraggly from my last cut not really being spot on.  So the evening of my arrival I began a determined search for great hair from an unknown-to-me stylist.  As any woman knows this is a humbling and daunting process.  It turns out that Rose was located in a small shopping center next door to my Sheraton and she had GREAT reviews.  I was able make an appt and get some pricing info and within minutes of my contact thru yelp and I had an appt for the morning.  And I am so very glad it worked out.I showed up for lunch with my family and my hair looked amazing.  Not bragging on me, but on Rose's care for perfect color and cut.  I felt like a million bucks.  Rose has double good skills because not all colorists can cut and vice versa, but Rose excels in both areas.  If you want to walk into a salon with confidence that it's all gonna be great when you leave, visit Rose.  You will be happy that you did. What a great experience! Rose did my daughters hair for her sweet 16 photo session. It was exactly what my daughter wanted! Getting an appointment was a breeze. Communication was excellent. Rose was great! It was my first time seeing her and I had a picture of what I wanted but knew it was going to take multiple sessions since my hair was jet black. She let me know what she could do in the first session and she exceeded my expectations! My hair came out lighter than expected (which is what I wanted) and remained super strong and healthy. My first major time in a salon and I was going from some brassy/orange/blonde mess to BLONDE. I was so nervous to find the right stylist, especially since I'm getting married in one month! I did so much research and my gut kept telling me to go with Rose and let me tell you...SHE'S AMAZING!! She told me everything she was going to do before she did it and why, she made me feel very confident that my hair would turn the blonde I want but that, of course, it was going to be a process. It took about 6 hours but she got it done in one session AND my hair took the least amount of damage. Obviously going blonde damages your hair no matter what, but my hair has never been softer. She was so positive about everything and did everything she could to keep my hair as healthy as possible. She was very warm and friendly, and definitely the nicest person I've met in a salon. I can not thank her enough for the transformation she did for me! Oh also, the price was amazing! People had been quoting me $600, YIKES!P.S SHE DID ALL THIS WITH TWO BROKEN FEET! This was my first time going to see Rose, my friend referred me to her. I was nervous at first because obviously I never been to her, but I looked at her amazing work online and it made me feel better. My hair was so damaged from all the coloring, curling and flat ironing I've done to it in the past year. I had major splint ends that another stylist had cut off but she left me with a really blunt haircut that had no style to it at all. I went to Rose for the first time today. She cut both mine and my mom's hair. She did a phenomenal job, best haircut I have had in years! I have extremely difficult hair to cut. Rose is a gifted hair stylist who really gets whatever look you are going for, whether it be easy messy or Princess perfect or edgy etc. I wanted easy messy that tossled not trying look lol and she did it wonderfully just like I wanted. I tried to get the same thing done in my hometown once with someone else and Rose was sooo much better. Rose is a trooper.  I can't say enough good things about this lady, her perfectionism and patience.  We booked the entire Mother's Day with Rose for four people.  She was delighted giving us her full day but not realizing that I had a last minute surprise for her which was a haircut that my mom wanted at the last minute.  Mind you that my mom's hair cut was an addition to the four appointments that she already booked for us today.  Without an ounce of hesitation, Rose accepted my mom's last minute appointment with a big smile on her face.  She started her day with us at 11:00 a.m and didn't end it until past midnight.  I saw the exhaustion on her face but she kept going like a champ and that smile never left her face.  I always had such a difficult time finding a stylist that I truly adore for every aspects when it comes to my hair.  But I can honestly say that Rose is that person for me.  She truly care about her clients and really take the time to do things right.  Love this woman. Rose is a perfectionist. I've been to Rose twice for trials to nail down my wedding hair, and I have full confidence in her for my wedding day :). I can't wait to update my review with professional photos of her amazing work!! The first trial we spent the bulk of the time curling my hair. She curled my hair and set it with pins. When we let the pins out, she realized that while my hair would look lovely and curly for the next hour or two, it probably wouldn't hold for much longer than that (despite copious amounts of hairspray!). Instead of finishing my hairstyle and letting me go, like most stylists would do, she completely re-curled my hair a different way, determined to figure out how to get my finicky thin hair to hold a curl. She wanted to make sure she knew how to make my curls last all through my wedding day! My first trial lasted FOUR hours, and honestly it was a pleasure working with her the entire time. She is smart, funny, and completely in love with her profession. Once she got the curls to stay (and they looked amazing!) she created a beautiful 1/2 up-do look.I came back for a second trial because I wasn't 100% sure I was sold on the 1/2 up-do part of the hair. This was more of a communication error on my part. I wanted to try another style or two, since we had spent the bulk of the first trial on curling my hair. She tried a couple of styles, and I ended up LOVING one with braids (which I totally didn't think I wanted! I have no idea what I'm doing :P). It just felt easier and more natural. Rose is a patient lady, I'll give her that, haha.Overall, I could not recommend her more. She is professional, she cares about her clients, and she is not out for your money. I knew about Rose from my friend, she has blonde hair like me. And we both had some experience with many hairstylists. So I have hair extensions around 5 years , after I moved here I had to found a new hair artist, for coloring and extensions. I tried two girls before Rose, they was good, but not perfect . Every time I come down to San Diego, I go to Rose to get my hair done. I have been going to Rose for several years already. I just can't find a gifted hairstylist as Rose is in my city. I have gone to many hairstylists who work for the expensive hair salons and for the the less expensive ones, but I was not very happy with my haircut and color after the salon visit. Rose is very good at finding the right shade of blonde for my skin tone. She also spends necessary time for the optimum results. I was fortunate enough to have Rose style my hair for a wedding I attended this month. Words cannot describe what a remarkable job she did.  My hair is dry and thinned out so I was impressed with how she was able to make my hair look so thick and voluptuous.  My curls lasted through an entire evening of dancing without wilting or losing it's shape. Rose is very detailed oriented and meticulous with her work - ensuring that every last hair is in it's perfect place.
