Great spot to get a haircut. Edgar has been cutting my hair for 3 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. A chair up front at the window, I watch the foot traffic on Los Olis and before I know it I'm done.

High praises to Hair Las Olas! I badly needed a haircut last week and Marco was able to fit me in with Yohana even though they were very busy. No matter who does your hair, I guarantee it'll come out great. Their coloring always looks natural and comes out just how you ask. The staff are SUPER NICE. The owner is AWESOME. He will go out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. He offers drinks and such on the house and makes the experience more enjoyable. It's a bit pricey but I wouldn't say any more than any other place. It's worth the money though because they do a great job. The only negative thing I can say is it costs like 40$ I believe JUST TO BLOW DRY YOUR HAIR...so you end up leaving with wet hair. My hair is so thin so it takes me 2 minutes to blow dry it myself. 40$ for 2 minutes is outrageous, so I had to go all the way home just to dry my hair. But other than that, I HIGHLY recommend this place!!! More...

Tried this salon as a result of Groupon and all the wonderful feedback I read on Yelp!  I had my hair cut by Alexis and she did a phenomenal job.  I had used the same stylist for 15 years and it was time for a change.  I took a picture of the way I wear my hair and she cut it exactly the way I wanted.  I will definitely be going back.  I found the salon small and quaint with a very relaxed feeling.  The owner was extremely nice when I had called to book my appointment and answered all my questions. Found a Groupon for Hair Las Olas and made my first appointment with Alexis. I'm an older male who was looking for grey coverage and I got an awesome cut & color, very natural looking. While there, I also met Marco and Eduardo; and the three of them had great tips for visiting local attractions and restaurants in Ft Lauderdale. I've been getting hair cuts and keratin treatments here for about two years and have been very pleased with the results. I had a bad (orange) balayage at another salon and was apprehensive about getting my hair bleached again, but Yohana did the most beautiful highlights in my hair. Best hair salon I've been to! Alexis is always super friendly and awesome at her job. My haircut is always exactly how I like it and the keratin treatment leaves you frizz free for 3-4 months! I will definitely be going back here. I bought the $95 groupon for keratin, cut, and style. I was not disappointed. Everyone that works at this salon is super classy, welcoming, and warm. The prices are fair and the atmosphere of the place is super cute and fun. It's a great location with plenty of cheap parking. Alexis did my Keratin, cut, and style. She was the sweetest, super professional, funny, quick, and efficient. She definitely knows what she's doing and she's great at it. Cute, small salon on Las Olas across from Roccos.  Parking is easy during the day on the weekends.  (Street meters or lots).  Booking was easy.  Called on Friday for a Saturday appt. and luckily they had availability. 5 stars for color from Yohana!!!  I would give 2 or 3 stars for price as I was charged double from what I was quoted on the phone.  I will definitely go back due to Yohana giving me fabulous blonde highlights but will discuss the price up front next time.  If you are looking for gorgeous highlights ask for her.  She's great! Wow.... So it's only taken 8 months for my husband and son to find a great hair place on the east side of town!  They have had nightmare haircuts before we found Hair Las Olas. .. Sasha who did my hair - keratin, color and cut was super nice. She also recommended that I get a flat iron. You laugh but until then none of the other hair dressers I went to for keratin treatments had mentioned it before. I did a keratin treatment and haircut with Sasha. I found some reviews online and had never done keratin before so I was a bit skeptical. (I also live in NYC and was on business here so as a New Yorker you can understand that NY people are a bit demanding..lol) When I entered the salon it wasnt as fancy as I was used to but then I was thinking ..this is Florida so I need to not judge. I was more concerned with the outcome of how great Sasha was going to make me look and truth be told she did NOT disappoint!! She is wonderful, kind, and passionate about making people look great but being realistic about my expectations and my hair. I LOVED that about her! Marco was wonderful as well ....parked my car for me so I didnt get a ticket parking in the wrong place and he got me the most fabulous cup of tea from a tea shoppe they work with around the corner that was complimentary. Not only did she listen to my requests and was very accommodating but she also checked in with me throughout to make sure my hair was coming out how I wanted it! Just lovely! Alexis did highlights for me and it's the best color I've had done.  She takes the time to do color the right way and it always looks amazing.  Marco manages the salon and it is a very professionally run shop.  Also their website is really easy to use to book an appointment and choose the individual service you need.  Great location and I've always been able to find parking and use the pay-by-phone app.It's a bonus when Alexis sings along to a song she likes,she has a beautiful voice.  Thanks for the great style and color! The people at Hair Las Olas were so accomodating.  I called them on a Saturday and they were able to take me.  When they thought that Alexis would be late for my appointment they called me.  When I arrived they offered me fabulous herbal tea.Alexis did a beautiful job with my keratin, highlighting (subtle and awesome) and a great haircut that I love.(Not only that, she has a beautiful voice)I would completely recommend Hair Las Olas to anyone.  I will definitely be returning again! Upon entering Hair Las Olas, Marco made me feel welcome with a complimentary tea list and hair consult with Alexis. Alexis and I worked with my hair style ideas, simple face framing. .. of witch I was thought was layering... she taught me the big difference between hard and smooth lines, as well as shaping hair with simple textures. I seriously wish we had taken before and after photos. I am so glad I found this place! I live in Wilton Manors and work in Las Olas so it was definitely conveniently located. I went in through a Groupon for a keratin treatment, Marco contacted me directly after I booked online to reschedule me for an available date so no problems there. I got my hair done with Alexis, and it looks amazing! So healthy and frizz-free! She also did a great job of conserving the keratin so I wouldn't be charged extra since I have extremely long hair, but even if I had been charged extra, $20 would have been well worth it and very reasonable. I can't wait to go back, the shop is chic and clean, right in downtown Fort Lauderdale so you can make a day of it. And Alexis was great company throughout the whole 3 hour process. Fantastic experience from the first call until the end of my service! The phone call to find out an estimate for my type of hair for a haircut and keratin treatment was very thorough by Marco.  With other salons in the past, they didn't seem to want to even discuss it over the phone.  This never happened in the past.  I knew what to expect walking in there.  I explained to Alexis what type of cut I wanted which sometimes has been an issue at other salons because they seem to know what is best for you instead.  She gave me exactly what I asked for and also gave me the most beautiful keratin treatment, straight and shiny like a china doll.  When she was done, Marco explained a great product for my treatment without being pushy like some salons.  The service was excellent, and from haircut to keratin was fast without jeopardizing quality.  I have found my salon and hairdresser in FL finally after several attempts with other salons since I moved here a year and a half ago.  Two thumbs up!! I found this salon through a Groupon special.  I've been wanting to get a Keratin treatment for a while now and needed a haircut so it was perfect that they offered both plus a partial foil which I though would be a fun bonus.  I was only in town for a few days so getting a prompt appointment was very important to me.  Marcos, the owner, was so very nice on the phone that I made my appt. before even checking out the reviews on this place.  The location was easy to find and had public parking available right outside.  (He even helped me figure out the parking meter... so nice!) The place was on the small side and not fancy at all... but neither were their prices.  The staff was down to earth and welcoming.  I had Toni as my stylist and she was very nice and so patient with me telling her how I wanted my hair cut.  She was very conservative in her cutting approach and I was worried at the outset but she did a fabulous job on my short haircut.  I love it... got complements all day today.  It's cute, a bit edgy and youthful but not over the top for my age.  The highlights came out exactly how I told her I liked them, discrete, not stripey and the color is perfect.  My hair is super soft and smooth but I won't really know how the Keratin treatment comes out until I wash it in three days and then I'll see how long it lasts.  I have my doubts about the 5 months but you never know.  I certainly didn't make a huge investment!  Overall, I highly recommend this salon if you're looking for a good value and good service by very nice people NOT a snooty, high end interior that you help pay for with outrageous prices.  BTW, they offer you complementary specialty tea from a tea bar in the back... a very nice gesture.  Thank you, Marcos, Toni and Alexis.  I'll have to fly down from Atlanta for my next appointment!!! I had an interesting experience getting my hair done at Hair Las Olas, I was not very confident when the experience begun, but in the end I was very happy with the results!  I had bought the Groupon for the color touch-up and cut, but unfortunately the Groupon was not accepted on Saturday (on Friday).  Although they were willing to work with my schedule, there were a couple of missteps along the way; however, any frustrations were forgotten when I was finally able to sit down for my appointment.The day of the appointment was a nice and relaxing experience for me - the way it should be.  Toni was very sweet and worked with me to get my hair the perfect shade of red.  She also did a great job of giving me a cute fringe cut :)The entire staff at Hair Las Olas is very nice and the salon is conveniently located, I will be visiting Toni again soon to touch up my bangs and perhaps get the keratin treatment she recommended. My mom bought me a groupon for an eyebrow wax to Hair Las Olas and though I have my regular girl in Boston, I figured I should use it so she didn't lose it. Three things:1)  You don't go into a back room - you sit at the hairdresser chair and she waxes you in front of other people getting their hair done.2)  She draws your shape to show you what she plans on waxing so you actually get to say "yes!  those will look great!" instead of being surprised by weird brows at the end.3)  She's a doll.I'd definitely recommend a brow wax from this place. I just got my hair cut and keratined here, and it was wonderful. Dilenia is great - very sweet and did a great job!  She made sure I was comfortable, offering drinks, checking in on the temperature, even offering to change the music to something I would like.  She also gave the best shampoo/scalp massage I've ever had.  My only complaint is that as she was the only person in the salon, she had to interrupt my service to answer phone calls and deal with walk-in inquiries.  She was super apologetic each time it happened, and I recognize it was out of her hands, but get that lady some help!  Overall, I love my hair and will come back here again. I used a Groupon for my first Haircut, Blowdry and Keratin Treatment at Hair Las Olas.  Upon arrival, i found a quaint shop with a cozy vibe.  They gave me excellent customer service.  Marco was amazing.  He ensured i was taken care of at all times.  Delenia was my stylist and was insistent that my needs were met in terms of my desired cut.  She made sure to walk me through the process and explained things very clearly to me.  My hair was not particularly damaged, but the Keratin treatment was part of the Groupon, so i went for it.  About a week later, and my hair looks AMAZING.  I have gotten so many compliments about how healthy and shiny it looks.  I have not yet tried to style it, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up, but as far as wanting it to look like it did the day i got the treatment done, it certainly does!I would recommend Hair Las Olas to anyone looking for excellent customer service, a job well done and a cozy atmosphere to relax and spoil yourself!
