Visited this salon a few weeks ago based on a recommendation off a local moms site. The service was great ...Tracy the owner made it her personal goal to ensure that I left happy and satisfied (took several hours to accomplish). Great color, highlights, and cut. You will not leave disappointed...just famished.  And btw this salon was 20 minutes from my house ...worth the drive. More...

I tried bleaching my hair at home and it didn't go very well:/. It was extremely brassy and uneven. And on top of that my hair was basically fried. Jessica, Jessica, Chrissy and the rest of the Hair Effex crew were (and continue to be) absolutely amazing. You can tell that Jessica, who organizes bridal parties, loves what she does. She was so sweet and helpful with everything. Chrissy is one of my favorite people (no one else will ever touch these locks) and the same goes for Jessica, our makeup artist. Everyone made me feel like a beautiful bride and make me look like one too. On the day of, Jessica had one side of the salon reserved for us with a table of mimosas, coffee, tea, bagels and other pastries. They knew I was getting a little nervous and said all the right things to keep me calm. They were very accommodating and it was really the perfect way to spend the day getting our hair and makeup done.

This place is more than spectacular! You will not be disappointed at this salon! I had a horrendous experience at anther salon where I asked for bayalage and came out with an "ombré" look that looked more as if I threw blonde dye from ABOVE my ears to the ends of my hair. The color was choppy and it did not blend at all. I'm an easy going individual when it comes to hair so for me to be dissatisfied it had to be bad! I came crying into Hair Effex where staff examined my horrible dye job and was so empathetic about my situation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, also quite chic! The staff immediately booked me for an appointment the following day with the most wonderful stylist, CJ. CJ worked on my hair for HOURS! She was meticulous, kind and attentive to my needs. She would not finish with me until I walked out looking perfect. CJ makes you feel like you're her only client in the room because she does not rush the process like many places do. I must express how wonderful and professional the staff is at this salon. When there's a problem, these beautiful women are there to help out! I came out of the salon looking gorgeous, and so happy! I can't say enough about this place or about Jessica! I will never let another person touch my hair... she's the only person who's ever given me exactly what I want every single time whether it's a cut or color. Highly recommend!
