I have been debating about getting my hair colored for over a year. After much research, I decided to book my appointment with Mina. I'm so happy that I did. I've been going to Mina for years now and she's consistently amazing. Not only is she super swift and decisive, she has a great eye and is great at working with you to find what works best for your style. She's styled my hair from long to short and I have had several color treatments with her including a silver balayage, which she managed to get done in 1 treatment without damaging my hair, and color tinting for my hair when I got tired of the upkeep for silver. I'm currently growing my hair out long for a wedding and the cut she gave me several months ago is still holding strong! I have always been scared of completely getting my hair bleached but after doing a lot of research I decided on Mina based on all the positive reviews. Along the way, I had my doubts but they delivered !!Mina and Annie really took care of me!! Annie made sure I was comfortable the whole time by offering drinks and snacks, checking on me often throughout my session. Mina really is an expert in her field and talked me through pricing and the process step by step ensuring I was content with my hair along the way. Before I went to see Mina, I had my hair dyed by someone else couple months ago and it went really bad. My hair before was orange-brassiness and my roots grew out which didn't look good with the color. I went in for a consultation and they were straight forward with everything and what to expect because my hair was really damaged too. Had a lovely time and the process was amazing overall. They were both very kind and they really took their time with my hair. Since I was going from black-orange hair to light blue. The process can be difficult and long but they made it just the color I wanted and I'm very happy. Definitely will be seeing them in the future. They also gave me a little gift! even tho I live in k-town, i have never seen or heard of this place be4. When I found this place thru yelp the name was 'Hair by Mina Colorist'. When i went to the location there is no such name. It turns out that the name is 'Raffine Hair & Beauty'. I actually walked several times up & down the block be4 I found it; It's right across from BCD Tofu House. Be4 going, I thought to myself it couldn't cost that much since my hair wasn't that long but I was wrong.
