When I came in for my appointment with Ali I was not sure what I wanted to do. Ali listened to my concerns, looked at some pictures I had, and gave me feedback on different options that we could do. I just moved to Peoria and was looking for a salon. After reading yelp and facebook reviews for several area salons, I chose Alter Ego and I was not disappointed. I started with a hair cut and color consultation with Ali. She was great. She helped me get rid of my damaged hair while maintaining my length. We then discussed hair color options. She fit me in the following Wednesday for color correction and all over color. Ali was fantastic with fixing my hair color. I had been dyeing my hair from a box for about a year and a half, including dyeing black for about half a year. Ali was able to help pull out the black and lighten it.
