I have been going to Salon 42 for 3 years now and couldn't be happier with my hair! I have fine blonde hair that can easily be damaged without special care. Knowing that I am in good hands with this Salon, I've felt comfortable enough to try tape in extensions, a wide variety of color from light to dark, and several haircut styles. All of which have turned out great and my hair is healthier than ever. The results are great, and the service is even better! The salon is very clean, each member of the staff is very friendly, and they're very considerate of your time when you are there. What I appreciate the most is that the hairstylists I've gone to (Jason, Marissa, and Whitney) all continue to learn new techniques and the latest trends to stay ahead of the curve. A HUGE thanks to Kim for being able to untangle a round brush from my daughters hair today! We were seriously petrified she was going to need her hair chopped off because I couldn’t get it to budge! Within 15 minutes she had it out and getting her detangled and prepped for a refreshing trim. The entire staff was amazing and super sweet! I have been seeing stylist Barbara Parker for around 2 years now after finding her on Instagram. I fell in love with the pictures of her clients hair and her professionalism and friendly nature are what keep me coming back. I have been seeing Erica Poppo for over a year now and she is absolutely fantastic! She helped me transition my hair from almost waist length with long thick bangs to a choppy short look without bangs. She's fun, friendly, and she listens and understands a vision and also contributes her expertise and perspective to create a perfect look. I love Salon 42 and this is the first hair saloon I have been to more than three times. I have always wanted a fashion color for my hair, but ever hairdresser I have seen has always steered me away from it. Erica B. with Salon 42 is the first person to be totally on board with me and she has done an amazing job. The color they use here stays in my hair for weeks and my hair has had very little fading. I have also recently been growing my hair out (I have always wanted long hair) and finally had it cut with layers on my most recent appointment. I don't know why I waited so long to have it cut! Kerri Underwood at Salon 42 at the Dilworth location is amazing! She is an expert with color, cut, style and all of the above. I have super long hair and her patience and willing ability to listen to my needs was exceptional. I looked like a whole new person walking out of the salon. She was very informative about each step she was taking while doing my hair. All of the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the salon was very clean and put together.
