To preface this - I don't live in a cookie cutter suburban house -- I live in the woods.  Up until now, the side of my house has been mostly inaccessible to me.  The ground was uneven and really steep in places.  I hired Bret (and his great crew)  to come and re-form this space into something accessible to me.Being a severe drought around here, I couldn't justify any planting.  But beyond planting, I really needed some good old transformation.  And transformation is what I got.  They built me an awesome trail and with that provided me with the accessibility I needed in order to maintain this space.In addition, they did some special stuff -- like built me a some important drainage and helped me deal with an old septic system.  I love it all.  They even pruned my apple tree.  :)The best part -- they were friendly and were totally adaptable to my changing requirements...  and were able to implement my ideas with results surpassing my request.  I got what I wanted, I am very pleased with the quality of work, and mostly for the value of it all.They always showed up on time.  They asked questions.  They offered me choices.  And they never made me feel like I wasn't in control of this.  It was really great.  Hire them, I will again (when I can figure out something else for them to do). If you're looking for a landscaper look no further.  Brett is very patient and easy to work with.  He can make any space look a thousand times better utilizing eco friendly plants and shrubs.  I appreciate his non-chemical approach to dealing with pests and unwanted plants.  He has an excellent eye and will help guide you in your landscaping decisions.  I highly recommend Brett and the rest of the crew at Habitat Gardens!
