Where to begin. We are extremely happy that we decided to go with H&A MY design for our remodeling. Let me just prepare you that this post is going to be long.
First, we were in a tight timeline because our house closed 60 days after we put in the offer and I was 6 months pregnant at that time. We knew we wanted to start the remodeling as soon as we closed on the house. Golan and Eran met with us prior to our closing date to go over the plans and file for the permit so that we could start literally a day after our closing date. Initially, they were referred to us by our realtor. I had done EXTENSIVE research to vet them and multiple other contractors. I found that some contractors did not even have a contractor license, general liability and/or workers’ compensation insurances. It mattered to me that we do things by the book (my husband and I definitely have type A personalities). When we met with them, we had a grand idea to remove a load bearing wall and move the kitchen to another area completely. Most of the contractors told us, “sure! we will do whatever you want.” However, Golan looked at the space interiorly and exteriorly and told us, “hey guys, this doesn’t make sense because…” At that moment, I knew they were the ones we wanted to hire for our HGTV inspired total house make over. Golan was straightforward and honest and he made us see structural/design flaws we weren’t able to see in our original plan.
I think another issue people worry about is, “are they going to be honest/ fair with me in terms of the price?” What he quoted us was very reasonable (we met with a few different contractors and most had much higher price in their minds). Yes, we did have to add on more work once the renovation started (we had some mold issues and decided to add on another bathroom remodel and repipe the house), but the additional payment was appropriate for the scope of work we added on.
Golan and Eran kept us updated on the status of our project and flexible when we decided to change certain aspects of the design. They worked with us to address our suggestions and concerns for each step of the way and corrected any issues that arose during the process.
We are so thankful because Golan and Eran helped us create our dream home for our little girl, who is 4 months old now. And we are so excited to create many memories with her in our perfect dream home.

Hired H&A my design for a kitchen remodel. The staff was very friendly and professional. They treat you like family and inspire confidence. Our project had some engineering challenges that I was concerned about, but these guys collaborated and figured everything out. They really strive to give you exactly what you want and the end result is spectacular! It was a complicated project, requiring not just bathroom remodel but foundation reinforcement, which made it longer and more expensive -- but worth it! Aaron was great about juggling the crews he handles and getting us the ones we needed. He did extra work as well when he saw repairs we needed in addition to what we contracted for. He and Golan saw the crack in our concrete, got us the architect-engineer we needed, who came up with revised plans. A crew dug down four feet around the demolished bathroom and put in a huge amount of rebar; we won t have any more cracks in the bathroom! Wonderful drywall and paint crew; Jose the tile installer is a true craftsman and made it all look wonderful. One set of plumbers had a problem; the next set fixed the problem and made sure to tell us what they had to do and why they needed to go through some of the drywall (largely because the people who sold us our bathtub did not explain how we could have used a different type of filler). Aaron had Jose come back the next day, finish the tile, and helped reinstall the drywall. Great service. A tip: The crews are doing different projects from day to day or week to week, so at the start and throughout be sure they understand what you want and where the material you bought should be used. We failed to tell them what kind of shower drain we wanted until after it was hot mopped, cement poured and the tile put in. But hey, no one is going to see the shower drain anyway. AND: the crews, especially Cruz, his brother and other painters, had great suggestions on what would look good. So did Jose and Aaron on placement of grab bars and sliders in the shower. And they both suggested a better non-slip tile for the shower. And this: if someone was late, we called or texted Aaron. He got back in touch within minutes. I already worked with Golan and my experience is excellent so I met him for my kitchen remodeling. He gave me several solution and I went with one. The price was very competitive and I liked how he described me future project. I told him it wasn't an urgent to start but he was very professional and started very soon after we signed a contract. I am not only happy with their work... I also love the products and materials they used in helping us improve our home. Best of all, I love their customer service, especially the professionalism their workers have shown. In general, it is important that we understand the fact that construction jobs are messy and would require a lot of attention, patience as well as time and I was fortunate that I was able to see all of them from this company, which therefore led to perfect results. My house has an open beam vaulted ceiling with NO insulation. Aaron and his team from H&A came up with an idea to insulate my house from the roof side. They worked clean and quickly! Aaron was knowledgeable, courteous and very fair. I am very happy with the job they did. I got to keep my beams but my house is now insulated from the weather. If you need any work done on your home, I'm convinced there is no better company for your home improvement needs than HA My Design! ! Back in December, my home experienced severe water damage and almost the entire home needed to be redone. Because it was such a large project, I had seven companies come and give an estimate. To me, when finding a contractor, first impressions are just as important as the estimate price. When then project manager, Aaron came to my home, he took his time explaining what the project entailed and offered great ideas that would make my home more efficient and look amazing. After all of my estimates, I was stuck between HA and another company. But then I received a call from Tiffany with HA and she was the sweetest office person and I knew then this company was the ONE! Let me tell you, not only was Aaron soooo patient with me (even through my craziness), his team from the paint guy, to the tile, guy, to the flooring and cabinet people were all PERFECTIONIST!! Aaron stopped by the house often to make sure everything was being done to my specs and that I was happy with the progress. If anything was not 100%, I did not have to worry because Aaron was already taking care of it!! During the months we worked together, HA My Designs customer service was nothing short of Excellent and Aaron proved to be a man of great integrity.
