I love going to this Guiry's the staff is so incredibly helpful.  One man in particular (I think his name is John? He has a beard and glasses and knows a lot about bookbinding) has helped me several times with a book binding project. He seems genuinely interested in solving my problems each time, and it's great to feel like someone is as invested as you are in making your artwork great! I've been a happy customer of Guiry's for years. Unlike the big box stores you can get help with paint questions, paint/stain matches etc. If you are going to do it yourself they can set you up with all you need. I was really struggling understand the type of stain I needed for my house. These people know their stuff! I worked specifically with Spencer who saved my sanity. Not only could he explain the different styles and helped me figure out what I needed, he also drained some samples for me on wood I brought in so I could see it in real life. I've been shopping here for my art supplies for years.  They never fail to please.They excell in customer service.I called this evening and spoke to Zachery, who went out of his way to try to help me with my latest idea. We moved south and needed some staining supplies for our wood crafts and since we lived right by the Centennial Guiry's for years, I got used to certain stains they have.  Unfortunately, they did not have the gel version (I prefer) at this site for the colors and brand I needed. The guys working on the Saturday I went in were so helpful.  They offered to order it and deliver! Or, which is what we ended up doing, we just switched to another brand I like and they let me test several colors to get the right shade.  So helpful!
