We were on a little mini vacay and stopped to eat and try the deviled eggs. It was delicious. The prices were great. We had brisket chili, hatch Mac and cheese, deviled eggs, a slice of brisket and two drinks. It was only $33.01 and that is cheap. The food was great. Definitely a place to try when you are in Waco. Absolutely not. The price of a chopped/beef brisket sandwich does not equate to what you are receiving. You are receiving a kids sized Happy Meal hamburger. On a sliced beef brisket it’s literally two cut in half pieces. Highly disappointed to pay $44 on three sandwiches and three drinks. More...

Finally got to visit Guess Family today after missing out on previous trips & enjoyed their “holy feast” — a sampling of all their meats & sides — for my family of 5. Solid visit overall. I can easily see why Texas Monthly listed them in 2021. Meats: brisket, pulled pork, turkey, cheddar chipotle sausage, roasted garlic sausage, spare ribs, & baby back ribs. Sides: brisket beans, broccoli salad, potato salad, coleslaw, cheesy grits, & green chile mac n cheese. For us, the favorites were the baby back ribs, roasted garlic & cheddar chipotle sausages, brisket, beans, coleslaw, & cheesy grits. Least favorites from today’s visit were the spare ribs (undercooked & chewy) & the broccoli salad (only tasted like mayo). Bonus for us was the craft soda collection on tap! More...

Don’t sleep on this place. You don’t need no teef to eat the beef lol. We had the largest sampler platter and all the meats were on point. Can’t wait to try it again.
