My family and I decided to try the Sunday brunch buffet with Mariachi for my mom's birthday. I called in to make reservations for the 1pm seating and they do require a credit card for a $5 a seat deposit (we were party of 17 including 3 infants). Upon arrival, it was a little chaotic with the amount of people waiting to be seated. With our reservation we were seated in 10 minutes. The restaurant was able to provide us with a high chair and baby slings since strollers are not allowed.Drinks were immediately taken (2 glass of champagne is included, other alcohol is separate)and we headed to the buffet area. The seating area felt crowded as you walked over to the buffet section. I thought I was going to get my plate knocked into me a couple times. We thought the buffet food was surprisingly decent (i.e. handmade tortillas, an omelet station, crab, shrimp al diablo, mole, sopes, tacos dorados). The show started about 45 minutes later. We thought the mariachi played really well and the 1 o'clock included a performance by a couple of Folklórico dancers. They did a shout out to those celebrating their birthday and sang  Las mañanitas. My mom said she really enjoyed it and said she would come back again with her sisters.I recommend the 1pm reservation slot because the 9am and 11pm slots you need to be sure you are out after the mariachi concludes their performance. Good authentic mexican food. I just don't agree that they charge $5.99 for a Buffet for a toddler. My niece is 1 year old and they charged us $5. 99 for her. All she ate was some pieces of fruit and a piece of platano frito. Compared to other buffets where kids eat for free,  I don't think it's fair to charge kids that young. More...

My absolute favorite thing about this place is a drink called Adelita; it's like a michelada but with Tamarind flavor with the choice of your beer. I typically choose modelo especial. This place is good when you want to have a good time and hear some Mariachis, they only thing is that they close at 9 and mariachi is only there for 1 hour (during the week). I've been coming here for a few years and have always had a great time. The food is delicious and portion sizes very generous. The restaurant always seems clean and so are the restrooms even on a packed weekend night (I really believe how clean a restaurant's restrooms are an indication as to their cleanliness practices). Yes as some other reviews have pointed out the prices are more but you know you're coming here for the food and mariachi show. The restaurant staff have always been friendly and check on us. I recently brought my aunts and grandmother. We weren't celebrating any special occasion other than family getting together--our waiter was nevertheless nice enough to just bring over a cake for my grandmother "just because."  I will continue coming here and recommending Guadalajara Grill More...

I came here with my sister for the lunch buffet and we both enjoyed it. They have so many Mexican food options. I couldn't believe they have guacamole only because avocados are so expensive and they usually don't offer guacamole in buffets. The restaurant is clean and very pretty mexican style tradition. This place is awesome. Part of our soccer team came to eat here after a game. Party of 15 and we only waited about 20-25 minutes despite it being very busy. The buffet food was very good. A great variety of traditional Mexican dishes, pan ducles, waffles, churros, pozole, menudo, enchiladas, Chile verde, Chile Rojo, salads, fish, crab, shrimp . .  . The buffet was well stocked and clean continually. The service was on point. The waiters were refilling drinks and bussing tables to keep things clean and often asked us if things were okay. All had a great attitude and worked hard to please us. The mariachis were great too. Entertaining and bringing a great vibe to the place.  The Manager Silvestre was amazing. He greeted us when we were seated, asked us where we were from, routinely checked on us and thanked us for coming. I was amazed at how he orderly got people seated despite the line being out the door.  We will be back and recommend this place for the food, entertainment, service and over all value. More...

First time here. I was impressed with the food but this place has great ambiance too.  Serving staff was all dressed up in nice Mexican costume.  The food was very tasty. The buffet menu included a salad and Mexican soups bar and many common and gourmet dishes, they had bolillos and Mexican sweet bread. On top of everything else, visit the Taquiza with at least five meats to your liking with hand made tortillas! Overall very nice for $15.99 for brunch along with happy hour priced drinks.  The only thing that can improve is the rice and beans, nothing special about the taste, kind of bland. But everything else was awesome. Good value for price.  They also have stage shows with traditional dancers in the evenings and they do special events too. Now get this. The waiter saw me putting my ice water glass on the inside of my arm  (I was a little warm and that works for me.) The waiter asked if I would like a little ice in a plastic bag.  What? I almost fell out of my chair. I couldn't believe such courtesy and caring from a wait staff. I said no, but I just had to mention that. Anyway, of course wouldn't hesitate to go back. More...

My first time at Guadalajara Grill and it was delicious. Authentic Mexican food! The decor is beautiful and the service was great! We had a large party and tried the buffet option. They have a good selection of food options; healthy options included. The cafe de olla was amazing and the tortillas are handmade to perfection. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. This is probably one of the best torta ahogada de carnitas i have ever had at a Mexican restaurant and cheap for their happy hour from 9am-12pm!
