About

I combine different styles of training to eliminate plateau’s, creating a challenging, and fun environment for your workouts. Everything I do is geared toward your goals and wants as a client. I am big on nutrition and teaching you how to eat because I want you to know what is right from wrong so that you can have the knowledge to sustain a healthy lifestyle forever without the need of a trainer.

This facility is a training facility, not a gym.  You're not going to be surrounded by lots of people pushing weights and screaming at themselves to "do it! "  You're going to get private personalized fitness training.  The staff are qualified trainers and will work with you to get you to the next level.  You get more than what you pay for here.  You also get a two for one deal, so if you want to train with a partner, the deal is even better!  I've been training here for a few months now and there's a big difference in how I'm feeling good day to day. Good job guys! More...

I have been training with Tyler since June 2016 and can say that he has had a major impact on my life. I know that I would never have achieved the level of fitness and wellness that I have at my age today (currently 52) if not for the personal attention that he has given me. I was at a point in my life where I needed accountability and I needed direction. I was tired of being sick and tired. The fad diets werent working and I felt like I was just going through the motions without seeing results.

Tyler is always encouraging and is so committed to his clients. He is there to not only help me with proper form & technique, and to achieve my fitness goals but he also teaches a better way of living to be healthy. Every day is not easy - but when you have an accountability partner in your corner - anything is possible!

He stresses that it is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. I really enjoy the variety & challenges that he puts into his workout sessions and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a health, diet, or fitness goal.

My fitness has increased noticeably and Ive seen improvements in my overall strength & endurance, my weight loss, and my muscle tone. I am committed to continuing my fitness journey to train and maintain a good level of fitness with his help for a long time to come. I actually look forward to my workouts!

I'm so excited that he has his own personal training facility now that is conveniently located. By Sam's Club on Antioch Pike in South Nashville. I would encourage anyone who wants to make a lifestyle change and get healthier to give him a try

I absolutely love this gym! All the trainers here are friendly and knowledgeable. The workouts are always challenging and customized to my specific fitness goals. My trainer, Tyler, is considerate of past injuries/illnesses and is intuitive to individual needs. The gym itself is comprehensive and private. I hate working out at public gyms and feeling self-conscious. This gym solves that problem. You get personalized workouts without all the fuss of waiting for machines or feeling inadequate. I cannot recommend this gym or the trainers enough. A truly superb experience. More...

Q&As

I work hard to help my clients meet and achieve their personal & wellness goals. I'm big on nutrition & teaching you what's right and wrong as eating right is a big part of getting the results that you desire. When you sign up with me as your trainer, I will sit down with you and work out a meal plan that is practical and that will work with the foods that you like to eat. No starving, no pills, no shots, or diet fads for those wanting to lose weight and no crazy food plan for those trying to gain weight or muscle. A lifestyle change that truly gets results! Ask any client of mine.

My way of training requires a partnership. That’s what gets you results! Committing to giving max effort in the gym when we are together and following your meal plan when you aren't with me. You will feel better, look better, and fall into a lifestyle that you can maintain for a lifetime. I take great care to make sure that my training sessions have a balance of all muscle groups, as well as areas of balance, strength, core, cardio, and mobility/flexibility while promoting your diet as well.

My Passion for Health and Fitness is my life! As a personal trainer, I am here to get you to YOUR goals, not mine. I love seeing a positive change in my clients self esteem when they meet their fitness goals. It's not always about the physical change, but the mental change that goes along with feeling great about how far you have come in your fitness journey.

I was born in Greenville,SC on November 2, 1988. Shortly after I moved to Nashville, Tennessee. My parents divorced at a young age with my father moving to Atlanta and me staying in Nashville with my mother and younger brother. Growing up poor and at times homeless during my youth, moving place to place, I knew I never wanted to live like that again. As a young teenager I spent time at my great grandmother's house and with my uncle Terry during the summer. My uncle soon passed away from complications of diabetes and after seeing the way things affect your body I chose to start taking better care of myself.

A high school drop out at the age of 16, I worked 40 hours a week at a fast food chain. Deciding I needed to do something more with my life, I got my G.E.D. at the age of 18 and enrolled at High-Tech Institute for Medical Billing and Coding while working two part-time jobs as well. Being poor and struggling to get by, it was difficult - as walking a few hours to go to all three places was my mode of transportation. Graduating shortly after, I realized that billing and coding just wasn't a job that i would enjoy as a life-long career. Being at a fast food chain and not liking the potential there either, I chose to join the U.S. Navy. After basic training in Great Lakes, Illinois and A-school in San Antonio, Texas, I spent my remaining time in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is where I really started to fall in love with fitness.

I initially began with helping some friends with tips and workouts. Loving the feeling I got from seeing the people I helped get stronger and seeing a boost in their confidence, I later became a Command Fitness Leader(also known as CFL) at my command. I found myself constantly looking up workouts and nutrition advice and it donned on me, "I do this for fun why not make a career out of it?". After a 4 year enlistment, I chose to leave the Navy and return home to Tennessee to pursue a new passion. Growing up as a 6'2" 180 pound high school football player who struggled to gain weight, I knew the importance of training and trying to become bigger and stronger to maximize my potential.

After I returned home at the age of 25, I needed something to fuel my competitive drive and started training to compete in bodybuilding. I met a trainer with 15+ years experience that helped coach me through bodybuilding and laid down the path to become a personal trainer. I went on to obtain my ISSA certification in January 2015 and I am currently attending college to attain my degree as a Nutritional Dietician and Exercise Science Specialist and working at my own personal training facility providing personal training and nutritional advice.

I care about the longevity of my clients. Not just getting you to your goal number. I want you to be able to get there and be able to maintain it so that you don’t go right back to where you started. On our initial meeting, I will sit down with you to learn more about what has motivated you to be in front of me today and learn about what obstacles are keeping you from reaching our goals. I will then formulate a plan to help you achieve your goals one step at a time.

I love what I do and my clients love that I put them first!
