This time of year has me remembering last Thanksgiving! I was on a limited diet and didn’t want to cook a big Thanksgiving knowing I couldn’t have leftovers so my mother and I went to Grills Gon’ Wild. Everything was delicious! Reasonably priced and the service was outstanding. The meal came with everything a great Thanksgiving dinner should have and even included dessert. I can’t wait to go again this year. i had the Chicken Fried steak with Mashed Potatoes and fried ocra and hubs had the donut judge me burger and bacon cheese fries. OMG one of the best CFSs i have had in amarillo besides my own and hubs loved the donut burger and fries. Price was very well as well as the atmosphere, almost like an updated diner feel and was great. Customer service was awesome the the young man that was there by himself was helpful with questions and was great with our food. Just imagine if this place had the budget for TV or radio, they would be packed and im sort of glad they dont as that would take away from the feel but also would like for the owners to reap their rewards for such great food. Love Grills Gon' Wild! Loved them when they were in that little hole in the wall next to The Eskimo Hut on McCormick. Now they have a bigger kitchen and dining room. Their menu items are plentiful, and some of them are over the top. We have always had great food! This last time we had the Monte Cristo with sweet potato fries and the Santa Fe cheeseburger with green chiles and fries, and all of it was AWESOME!!! More...
