Hi, I'm DJ Gregory Guerrier located in Manhattan NY. My history of DJing started in the year 2000, through roadie work by earning the trust of my mentor in his company. Later I went into DJing night clubs, lounges along side private parties on my own. My style and angle of DJing transformed tremendously from playing mainly recent hits that could fit into a record crate or two and now recent years playing a much wider variety of decades, genera selections and edits because of technology innovation in our DJ industry allowed this flexibility and opened my creativity like never before.

There's a plethora of DJ's flooding the market space which provides both good & not so aspects. It's good because there's plenty of options for clients to choose from, not so because it could be overwhelming for you (the client) to weed through the sea of DJ's trying to figure out who could represent you or your company best. With that said I'm passionate about the overall experience my clients and their guests receive while I DJ. My goal is to have you and your guests reach an uplifted positive feeling that will become memorable your event was amazing. My favorite types of events to DJ and specialize in are Academia Functions, Corporate Events, Graduations, Lounges, Private Parties, Retail Special Events, Public Spaces and Retirement Celebrations. If you value lyrical content screening then you'll be glad to know that I pride myself having spent countless hours over the years pre-screening EVERY single track in my music library before downloading or converting from vinyl as clean edits or made clean/er to be appropriate for public spaces or mixed age events. A great DJ doesn't just play the right song, they play the right edit and know how and when to work it in with the crowd which is what you'll get with DJ Gregory Guerrier.

My style of mixing is versatile from transitioning methods to the musical choices you'll hear me play which is Open-Format (Playing a wide variety of popular musical genera's during one event). Each event is different and my experience performing allows me to understand how to maneuver through these various event types I specialize as described. I only own and utilize professional DJ equipment for reliability and functionality and for excellent sound purposes suffice for 250 people. I have professional wireless mic available that's compliant under the new FCC rules released. My setup is always ascetically pleasing, organized and elegant. I'm the ONLY DJ in NYC with a foliage facade which sets your event way apart from the average visually. Also I only use battery powered uplighting controlled via DMX for setting ambiance to any color of your themed event and Gobo to display company brand or event cause.
