From the first phone call I knew Greg was the photographer for us! We planned a destination wedding in Key West, and although we had been there before, we didn't know exactly where to take pictures. Greg suggested several different things which fit us perfectly! We took pictures downtown Key West, at Ft. Zachary Taylor and finished the day with sunset pictures at Bahia Honda Key. Greg and Lisa did the most amazing job capturing our special day and that was only the start.
They both have a great eye and skill at capturing all the special moments planned and unplanned. They did a excellent job preparing us prior to the wedding, and were excellent at capturing all the shots without being in the way. The guests all loved the pictures and we had a video to share later the same night as our wedding.

Greg Poland Photography was even more amazing to work with than we could have ever hoped! I wish every couple could experience working with them, and if you have the chance to do so, do not hesitate to book them! ! Every aspect of our wedding day was perfect, and Greg and Lisa Poland played a huge part in that. From my first phone conversation with them, I knew these photographers were exceptional. I never felt rushed as I asked questions and we discussed options, and they provided me with recommendations for other vendors that ultimately led to the creation of our destination wedding dream team :). I knew I could trust them as soon as we were introduced over the phone, and by the time we met in person, I greeted Greg and Lisa with hugs because they had become auch an important part of our wedding day. They walked us through some very meaningful questionnaires to prepare for our wedding day that helped them get to know us better and also gave us a great opportunity to take a breath during our wedding planning and answer questions about each other and appreciate what our wedding was all about!

They were a seamless part of our wedding day, knowing exactly where they should be, coordinating the timeline of the events, yet never making of the moments feel forced. Their photos are an authentic representation of the feeling of our wedding day. I am also forever grateful for their advice to do a First Look! I will never forget that moment!! It was also so incredible to wake up to preview photos provided by Greg and Lisa right away, and we were blown away by them! They went above and beyond with providing that gift--it was the perfect way for us to spend our first morning as husband and wife looking through those photos. We also love how they put together a private link for us and one that we can share with our guests. The pictures are amazing, and I don't know how we will ever narrow down which ones to purchase!

Greg and Lisa photographed our wedding on April 14, 2018 and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. From our initial meeting, to the wedding day, to the photos themselves they were both professional, courteous and a joy to work with. One of the things we appreciated most working with Greg and Lisa was them helping us understand how many hours of photography we really needed. We thought this was considerate given the fact that weddings due tend to be costly and they only wanted us to spend what we really needed. As far as the wedding day itself, they were just awesome to work with. They helped alleviate a lot of the stress that happens on your wedding day which allowed them to capture the joyous moments we shared with each other and our families. While working with Greg and Lisa for both our engagement photos and our throughout our wedding day we got to know them. Not only are they top-notch professionals, but also they are kind and funny and great people to have around you for such an important day.

We added an extra challenge to our photo expectations by including our dog and two young nieces. Everyone knows kids and dogs add so much to events but they rarely follow directions or smile on cue. Greg and Lisa were very patient and able to get some amazing photos that we weren’t expecting.

Greg and Lisa are talented and able to adapt quickly as live events rarely happen as planned. Despite a well laid out timeline things changed. Greg and Lisa were able to get all of the photos we wanted including our family and captured the beauty of our location in ways we hadn’t imagined.

Their pictures speak for themselves. They're photos capture the romance and character of the bride and groom along with the venue. If they have recommendations for your timeline, locations, posing, anything, just take them, you won't regret it. Some weddings you notice the photographer and not the bride because they are in the way. Not with Greg and Lisa, you barely even notice they are there, they are quick, quite and very efficient.

I was captivated by Greg and Lisa's beautiful photos on the Key Largo Lighthouse Beach website. We were happy to find out that they were available for my wedding. We had a phone consultation, a few weeks prior to the wedding. Greg and Lisa were very engaging and informative. They allowed us to express what we wanted, and provided insight on what the day would be like. On my wedding day, I immediately felt comfortable with Greg and Lisa. I had to change wedding dresses at the last minute, and was not feeling quite confident about it. Lisa helped me see that the dress was beautiful. She is very creative in a charming way. This was a dream wedding. Lisa and Greg sent us a sneak peek of the photos the same night! I was very impressed and pleased with them. Soon after, I saw the other pictures. Greg and Lisa we're without a doubt the best decision we could have made to photograph our wedding. Their pictures are absolutely amazing. The turn around after the wedding was quick. Most importantly was how they handled us as clients.

Greg and Lisa are amazing!!! They both came early and scoped out my venue with a camera on each hip! The pictures they took are absolutely stunning! They look like pictures that should be in a magazine or something, by far the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen! I’m obsessed! They also got the pictures back to me very quickly ! They have tons of experience and are very smart when it comes to taking the pictures with certain lighting, poses, etc. I didn’t realize how much went into photography until I met them! Let me tell you... There are a lot of photographers out there but few are GREAT! Greg and his wife Lisa were total game changers when it came to not only the amazing photography from our wedding but were also amazing guides to the FL Keys.
Photography
From Planning to execution we never had to worry that they had this important part of our special day under control. As a team they laid out all that was needed to ensure our wedding was captured perfectly. From special locations to shoot that others would not know about to ensuring they got the best shots, these two clearly understood how to capture a couple in the FL keys. The photos that Greg and Lisa got of us on our wedding day are not the kind of photos that reside in an album under your coffee table never to be looked at again, they demand space on the walls of your home.
The Sherpas
If all Greg and Lisa did was take and edit the photos of your wedding it would be a no brainer to hire them. However, in working with them Greg was able to point us toward and away from so many things that helped us maximize our time in the Keys. They know the locations for photo shoots, They know the restaurants, they know the bars, they know everyone in town, they know and recommend terrific vendors and their greatest skill seems to be the ability to replace stress with calm.
Offshore:
In addition to photography Greg runs a charter boat for fishing. Our guests booked with him and the photos and experience were so great many of them are returning to FL just to go out with Greg. Greg knows the water, the fish and where you can find them. This is well worth your investment if you can make it work.

This is the review in a nutshell. If you are getting married there are a ton of things you have to plan for and make decisions about.... Who is photographing your wedding isn't one of them. Greg & Lisa were extremely easy to work with; professional, but also able to have a few laughs. They definitely knew how to get the job done! They made family photos quick & easy, made sure my champagne glass was full during photos and even shoo'd a pesky cat away a few times. We just got married in Key West, our package had a photographer for the ceremony. I wanted more than just the ceremony and started researching photographers. I found Greg Poland through Instagram and fell in love with his work. I reached out to Greg to see if he was available for our date and if he was able to do what we were looking for. What we wanted was someone who would go to a number of places around the island to get pictures taken. I shared with him what pictures I loved and he knew the locations I was wanting. Greg Poland was so AH-MAZING and our experience with him was top-notch. My husband & I got married on New Years Eve and we wanted a sunset keys wedding. It was a small ceremony and in a hotel that is not the prettiest in the keys but had a great sunset view. Greg knew exactly what to do and guided us through everything to make sure that our intimate ceremony would be seen in our wedding photos. When we started planning for our wedding and searching for a photographer we came across Greg & Lisa’s photos and fell in love – we loved the natural look of their photos and how they seemed to capture true, raw emotions and not the awkward posed smiles and looks you typically see.

Greg & Lisa were the first photographers we looked at – and we never looked back. They were kind, fun, and truly had the interest of us on our big day and ensuring that they captured the best photos they could. Before we even left the dance floor – the DJ came to us and said “have you seen the photos?” Sure enough – in our e-mail was more than 10 photos beautiful photos of our day that captured exactly what we had seen in the photos we viewed online so long before. It’s just one day after our wedding and we have already received 2 separate emails from Greg & Lisa with a sneak peak of our photos, one last night and the second this afternoon as my new hubby & I hung out by the pool!
The pictures are incredible, more than we could have ever expected and we just cannot even begin to image how good the rest of them will be when they come through.
From our first contact with Greg & Lisa the communication has been fun, friendly, informative and reassuring. We never had any doubts about how well our day would be photographed with the level of detail shared about our requirements for the day, special photos we wanted taken etc.
We travelled to Key West from Ireland for our wedding and even with the distance and time differences involved in planning our day, everything was seamless.

Greg and Lisa photographed our beachside wedding at the Hilton Key Largo. From our first point of contact, Greg was fantastic. My wife and I knew he was knowledgeable and his passion for his work was evident – not only from how he was talking but also from what we saw from his work on his website. We moved forward and hired Greg and had Lisa as our second shooter. Prior to the wedding, Greg and Lisa made themselves available for any questions and concerns we had. In addition, they were a great source of information/suggestions for our big day – ranging from timeline suggestions to awesome ideas for unique shots.

The day of the wedding Greg and Lisa arrived a little early to check in with us and map out the day. This meant a lot to me, as I knew Greg and Lisa were not only going to give 100%, but also that they really cared about capturing this beautiful day for us. The rest of the wedding was a blur for us as we were in a love bubble, so getting the first handful of shots the night of the wedding was awesome! We were both moved to tears at how beautifully these special moments were captured.

Greg and Lisa were very quick in editing the rest. There were a few photos that we wanted some editing done and/or were curious if they had another shot of, and Greg went above and beyond in getting the edits and other photos to us.

I found Greg Poland Photography online and felt right away that he was the right photographer for our wedding!

When first talking with Greg over the phone and via email, he was professional and attentive; and upon meeting both him and his wife, Lisa on the big day, I was instantly charmed. The bridal house was a bit crazy and they didn't add to it, but were a calming presence who kindly and patiently directed us in order to get the best shots.

They continued being that calming force throughout the day. They asked for our input, but I happily gave it all to them as they both exude expertise and imagination. They are great photographers and one really cool couple! Their photos told our story, and narrated that of our special day in a way that was effortless and natural. Besides the posed shots which were amazing, it was a great surprise to see all the shots they were able to gather which we couldn’t witness in person!

Greg and Lisa photographed our wedding on April 14, 2018 and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. From our initial meeting, to the wedding day, to the photos themselves they were both professional, courteous and a joy to work with. One of the things we appreciated most working with Greg and Lisa was them helping us understand how many hours of photography we really needed. We thought this was considerate given the fact that weddings due tend to be costly and they only wanted us to spend what we really needed. As far as the wedding day itself, they were just awesome to work with. They helped alleviate a lot of the stress that happens on your wedding day which allowed them to capture the joyous moments we shared with each other and our families. Lastly, Greg and Lisa provided the photos back to us with basically zero turnaround time.
