What do you love most about your job?
DEDUCTIONS lol. I love looking at things you thought were not deductible and making it work for your financial situation. I literally study deductions and tax changes like a hawk to make sure that I get every dime that you deserve.
I also really love starting/creating new businesses. I love to see where the business starts and the enthusiasm of the person(s) starting the business. To know that I can have a hand in helping someones dream become a reality, that makes me very happy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was not intentional. I started out owning an Income Tax franchise. I did not like how they did business and how clients were just a "number" (no accounting pun intended). I decided that I could no longer work under that type of environment. I wanted to be a safe space for people who needed help. I started out in a room as big as a closet lol! Now, my clients base has increased, we grow larger every year and my clients are like family to me. Their financial situation is my financial situation.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have sanitation stations set up all over the office, seating is distanced and if we are sick, we stay home.
