Small spot with food truck. The staff was very pleasant and allowed us to sit in even though we were close to closing. We ordered lamb gyros with side salad and vinaigrette dressing and lamb gyro sliders. The meat was a little too chopped up for gyro meat. The sliders were good and moist but we had to ask for tzatziki sauce. My main complaint would be the vinaigrette was way too vinegary almost too the point of inedible. More...

This place is AMAZING! The lamb is the best I've ever had. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Plus the owners and staff are so friendly and here to make it a great dining experience for you. And let me tell the feta dip is the best thing on earth. Eat here! Seriously! I used Grecian Gourmet to cater a 100-person event at Crosstown. JoBeth was so responsive and gave me some amazing off-menu solutions to the huge variety of dietary restrictions I had to serve to. After setting up the food, she stayed for a while to help attendees find the right food for their diets, and cleaned up afterwards. The food was delicious (the hummus is her unique recipe) and we ended up with nearly no leftovers. When I went into the restaurant to make the final payment, all the employees I spoke with were really nice. Clearly the service is good, they seem like a big family. Really good food - the gyros are delicious. They make their own pita chips that go great with the spicy feta dip. Even better, the people who run it really care about good service. Grecian Gourmet is a gem! As a New Yorker, I'm pretty picky about my Greek food and this place is delicious! Food- We got the Greek salad and added gyro meat. The ingredients were fresh and meat was nicely flavored and well-cooked. We also got the pita chip nachos and added feta dip and gyro meat -- amazing!! Service- friendly, prompt, attentive. This is a little jewel of a restaurant on trendy South Main. The menu is limited but everything is good and it's relatively inexpensive. You might get a delicious moussaka and a side dish like cucumber salad or stuffed grape leaf for $10. A glass of wine is around $8. We especially like to have a Sunday lunch here. WALK-OFF HOME RUN TO SECURE A SPOT IN THE POST-SEASON!Uncannily good (and healthy at the same time)!What an awesome find. I was blown away by how tasty the food was at this place . Some office mates had suggested it for weeks, and even though I've lived in Memphis my whole life, I had never been. Well, we grabbed lunch there today and were very pleased.The place has a great, local decor and I think is run by a couple. The wife came over to our table and commented about how she really enjoys making a particular item a friend ordered. She said her husband encourages her to make it and so she may start making it more often.I had the lamb gyro and it was soooooooo good. It was exploding with flavors from the herbs and spices used to cook the lamb to the vegetables and sauce inside the delicious pita. This is one of those dishes where I'm going to have a hard time ordering something else because it's so frickin good. I also had the Greek yogurt with local honey, berries, granola, and almonds. Once again, it was surprisingly fresh and tasty. I could have eaten two servings probably it was so good. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is fast and friendly.
