the owner and staff are very caring and wonderful. we had booked another venue for our company Christmas party for about 50. people, and literally days before the party, Christmas Eve Eve. , we found out they closed. we called the Grand Valley Inn because we had been there for events before and our mom liked the food, , and they saved the day! they opened just for us and all the staff came in during a busy holiday season, and worked very hard for a large amount of people. the food was awesome, every person agreed. the room was perfect. service was excellent. you could tell everybody there did the best to make sure we had ta great holiday party.. I eat here often. Sometime with my friends and more often with my husband. We were there after a long day and we both wanted comfort food,and it was a delicious meal! Our server,Keith, was very informative and has a great personality and a beautiful smile! Serviced was prompt and food was great. Grand Valley is also where we take our guests from out of town. I held a Memorial there tonight and I couldn't be happier. The owner was hands on and took care of every detail. The staff went above and beyond and I couldn't be happier. Our first time there and so glad we went. Comfortable surroundings. Food was delicious - flatbread and kid's pizza had homemade crust. Generous servings and reasonable prices. The kids meals came with a fudge brownie sundae, just the right size. Homemade chocolate raspberry cake was yummy. However, the "icing-on-the-cake" was the personable and thoughtful server, Melanie, who was able to keep the 3 yr. old smiling and happy. Tonight was our first visit to the Grand Valley Inn, but it certainly will not be our last! From a friendly greeting at the door and a lovely "have a great evening! " as we left, we were impressed. We had the scallop special and the chicken and pesto linguini. Delicious! We enjoyed the variety of bread, salads were fresh, entrees fantastic, and the carrot cake for dessert was scrumptious! We have been to the Grand Valley Inn several times and on each occasion, we've enjoyed our dinner, the atmosphere and the staff made every attempt to make our visit a comfortable and pleasant experience. When talking about some of our favorite restaurants, we've always mentioned the Grand Valley Inn to our friends and wanted to plan a get together. Reservations were made for twenty of us and on Sunday afternoon we all gathered and had a wonderful time together. In respect with the amount of people in our party and the other sections of the restaurant were filled, the waitresses assigned to our group were very professional, courteous and quick on their feet. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, the food was delicious, the portions were enormous and the price was very reasonable. Our pleasant experience was well worth the wait. A big thank you goes to the staff and management for a job well done. We've enjoyed our meal and had a great time with our friends!! More...
