This was a fun experience using my memory and senses. The whole place is a living smorgasbord of fun games and new ways to do the same things we do usually just in different ways ie stretching and using those brains of ours. My husband I wanted to try something different for date night and discovered M1nd 6ym. We'd visited the Psycho 60 escape rooms in Kernersville which were owned by the same company and were not disappointed with this new format! The owners were incredibly polite and enthusiastic about their new adventure. We tried two different level 4 challenges and it took us about an hour total. We love that you can track your progress with the app (which does have a one-time fee of $10), and can work toward completing the final challenge over time. The price ($10 per person per challenge) was super reasonable and felt more affordable than the average escape room costs. We took our youth group ranging from 6th grade to 12 grade this past weekend and we all had a blast! What a great way for everyone to get involved and participate. . even better -- none of the teens complained! (You know that is a feat in itself!) As a youth leader, I really enjoyed watching my group lift each other up and recognize not only their personal strengths but the strengths of their group members. Initially we had some trouble reserving the room in time but the staff was very generous to make it happen. The Quantum was much harder that we anticipated and we failed to disassemble the bomb in time. However, the staff was very kind to allow us more time to complete it. If was my first time experiencing an escape room. We tried the infectious lab room (not too easy, not too hard) and found that it was the perfect amount of fun and challenge. 10/10 would recommend and we will be coming back to try a different room! Being creative and coming up with weird ideas and crazy puzzles. We get that dopamine hit whenever we see our players get that ‘ah-ha’ moment when they solve one of our puzzles.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We love playing escape games and are both creative and nerdy. Being able to decide your own fate is awesome!
