Haven't written a review in a while, but this place is def worth writing one. My bf and I wanted Italian after we went to Long Beach and this was the first spot that opened up so we wanted to try it out. .. BEST CHOICE!! Usually I don't eat the bread that they give in the beginning of the meal, but it was so good with the pasta. I got the lobster ravioli and their sauce is sooo creamy and perfect! My bf got a garlic clam pasta and that was also made perfectly as well. Would highly recommend and def going back to try more!! More...

My partner, my brother and I have dined at Gran Paradiso many times and will continue to do so for the simple reason that the food is exceptional, the service is exemplary. Â My brother Mike and I had dinner there this evening, and it was absolutely divine! Â Our appetizer was superb, as was our entrees and desserts. Â And Pepe, that big, handsome, accommodating server, was, as usual, fabulous. Â The bus staff were really great, and the chef is, in a word, gifted! Â Bernardo, the manager, as always, was suave, handsome, gracious, and warm. Â Love him! Â And the bus staff, each of them deserve super praise for their efficiency, friendliness and customer service! Â And, most important, the food was superb! Â The Chef is a culinary connoisseur. Very good food, our server was extremely friendly, and efficient, the prices were a bit on the HIGHER side. Â We did fid a problem while we were at the bar. Â There were people coming up to the bar from the dining room and chatting with the bartender who seemed to talk part in the conversations with the people who were standing at the bar VERY CLOSE to us, unmasked, and certainly not following the Social Distancing Law.This made us very unhappy, and uncomfortable.Other than that our experience was very nice, but that kind of ruined it. I dont bad mouth a business but what I experienced last night was inhumane . I went to have dinner and a drink after a super longgggg day . This is my second time coming to the place , the first time everything was great food , drinks staff . Last night as I was ordering my drink I come  to see someone from my past I had issues with (this person does not work at the establishment) she called a female over to her table (one of the staff members) and thats when the madness began . She spent the night calling staff members to her table and would start pointing at me , shouting out loud , wouldn't stop staring, at that point I moved myself to a chair were I could not see them but this is not were it gets bad . Im assuming the person I had issues with in the past was friends with the whole restaurant staff and probably the owner . To make the story shorter I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo , when my ordered came my food smelled rotten , it smelled like they purposely put something on my food . When the waiter came back to clear the table he did not even ask why I left my entire plate , which happens in every restaurant they always ask how was your food or was everything okay . They removed my plate brought my check . MY REVIEW HAS ONE PURPOSE ONLY .. YOU ARE RUNNING A BUSINESS , HOW ARE YOU GOING TO LET SOMEONE THAT IS OBVIOUSLY MISERABLE INTERFERE WITH YOUR BUSINESS ? The food was fine, I wouldn't say great, but it was Ok, the Prices are on the higher side. The service was very friendly, I thought that they could do better as far as being stricter with following the Corvid regulations, but I guess when ever there is a crowd its a struggle to do so.Would we return? Â Yes.
