After many years of having my daughter work with Peggy, I was totally blindsided to find out that Peggy filed a DCFS complaint against me based on hearsay. She did not even have the decency to tell me herself. Betrayed does not begin to describe how I feel/felt. Not so sure I believe in the “healing powers” of therapy anymore. I will carry the shame and trauma of this unfounded investigation with me forever. This is something no parent should ever have to go through. Graceful therapy? Oxymoron in this case. More...
