First time in this area since we went to Joes Crab Shack yesterday for my daughter’s birthday. We were in need of a cake. I went here and was greeted by a gentleman . He was extremely helpful. Hands down. I was asking how does this taste, how does that taste etc. I told the gentleman I’m looking for a cake that’s not too sweet. He recommended the Hazelnut cake which he had in the back, not on display. Took it knowing my 8 year old may not like hazelnut. This cake was amazing! She ate a big slice and the next day asked for more. My parents and family also loved the taste of this cake. Thank you so much for recommending this flavor. We enjoyed it. Gourmet Desserts is an absolute gem. I was referred to this bakery by a neighbor when my out of state baker cancelled on my wedding . .. 2 weeks before. Ezzat was recommended to me by my cousins family who uses him for all their baking needs. I was very happy with the customer service. I couldn't pay my bill with my debit card because my purchase wasn't $10.00 minimum for credit card. So the cashier allowed me to pay with the changes that I had & I was happy that she trusted & waited for me to go next door to get cash to pay the $.57. Now I only come here for cookies and everytime the same guy helps me out he always lets me try out a cookie and I've decided that my favorite cookie was the powdered raspberry filled cookie because it is so soft. He is really nice and I haven't had a bad experience here yet. I also really like their chocolate dipped cookie with the sprinkles. They are so addicting! We left them out on the kitchen table and we were watching a movie and I kept getting up to grab them. My friend's family really enjoyed the florentine cookie and I will have to try them out another time. This is usually my go to place for desserts when I am coming over to a friend's place for dinner. We recently placed an order for our party for 3 different cakes, a pound of cookies and a variety of assorted pastries and everything was superb. Â We ordered the regular cheesecake, the hazelnut cake and the chocolate desire cake and everyone kept asking where we ordered this from. The professionalism at this bakery is unmatched. My mother and I were visiting NJ from out of town and needed to find a bakery that sold red velvet cupcakes for a birthday surprise we were planning later that evening. After a Google search, and checking out their website, we decided to purchase the cupcakes from Gourmet Desserts. We called to ask specifics about their red velvet cupcakes and store hours. We were told that they closed at 8, so we headed that way and arrived around 5:30, only to find out there had been a miscommunication and that they actually close at 5:00 on Mondays. When we arrived, the owner was still in the bakery and actually opened up the shop for us so that we could get the cupcakes and some other things. Absolutely love this bakery. They made our wedding cake and cupcake tree Centerpieces for our reception. Both the cake and Centerpieces were stunning and delicious. I highly recommend this bakery for all occasions. I also ordered a groom's Cake for my brothers wedding rehearsal dinner. Â It was a golf cake.
