I had Roy and his crew out to my Granny's property to help clean up dead limbs that were falling from the trees. She could not be more thrilled with the work they did! She said that she would give them 11 out of 10 stars and recommend them to literally everyone she knows! She said that she hasn't seen the place look that good in awhile. The dead limbs were a huge concern as they had started falling on the house and causing damage. She was unsure how to proceed as this was following the death of my grandfather. Very happy with the work I had done by Good Morning Tree Service. They are not the least expensive quote you will get but the quality and quantity of work you get from tree service companies can vary widely and the work they did was well worth the price. They are knowledgeable professionals in Arboriculture and when you are dealing with a difficult or impossible to replace asset like a mature tree these are the type of people you want to deal with. My oak trees were damaged by the ice storm. The major, dangerous damaged limbs were removed shortly after the storm but I wanted the trees to be professionally trimmed. The crew came out and we’re professional. After they left, I noticed a number of dead limbs that had not been removed. I notified the office and two people came out the following evening. Unfortunately, the cuts were not painted and small dead limbs (2-inches diameter or so) still reman. I’ll use Morning Tree Service again, but they are not as thorough as they have been in the past. We had a tree that was leaning over our neighbor’s house, it was an emergency situation. We called several different arborists but none of them really understood the urgency of our situation. I wanted trees trimmed, some large limbs removed and bug treatment for two trees in the front. I was given two separate bids, one for tree trimming one for treatment. The tree work was fine. The crew was efficient and completed the work in about 3 hours. However, the crew did not clean everything up and I had to chase them down as they were leaving to finish cleaning up. This really irritated me especially for the sum I paid for less than a half day of work. The owner never followed up on the bug treatment and I had to reach out and ask when it would be scheduled. I got the phone tag treatment and no formal schedule on the calendar. After a few back and forth texts, I gave up and I think that was the general idea. This company sells itself as doing everything trees including treatment for disease and insects. My impression is it is strictly a tree trimming and removal company. I was looking for more than just tree trimming and large limb removal. I feel misled and oversold. I will not use this company again, not even for tree removal. I don't believe in giving 3-4 star reviews and all things considered this is on the low end. I'm really tired of companies misprepresenting themselves or not following through on commitments. Great experience with Good Morning Tree service. I've been trimming the tree myself. and this was the first time to hire a tree service. During the estimate, I had good consulting on how best to trim the tree and Tracy pointed out issues with the tree that I hadn't considered. This is great expert consulting. They guys were schedule to arrive at 9 on Monday, they were there at 8:55 ready to go! Their team trimmed the tree, cleaned up the moss, and were asking again to make sure before cutting. I even asked for some additional cuts that they were happy to make. They then sprayed over the cuts and cleaned up the yard debris and gave me some additional firewood. Called around to multiple local tree company's to get 2 dead trees removed from the side of the house. They were falling and didn't want them to damage roof. These folks were the 2nd to call and were very polite and professional. Fair on the pricing and happened to have someone in the vicinity already. Came out and took care of them with a quickness. They did a great job for most part! Easy to communicate with, very polite, efficient. However, they could have made cleaner cuts off several of our cedar elms, cutting closer to the tree trunk, without the jagged remaining stubs left sticking out several inches or over a foot long. I got quotes from about 8 providers. Good Morning Tree Service (Jonathan) was very responsive. Not only did he answer all of my questions, he gave me a tutorial regarding the expertise experience of the crew, the safety of the techniques, (one of trees I was removing was about 4 feet between 2 fences), and of course, the need to sanitize all their equipment to avoid transferring oak wilt or other disease. Their method tied off each limb and each trunk section to be removed so as to lower each cut to the ground in a slow and highly controlled way.—no damage to my lawn. I’ve used another tree removal/trimming company in the past, but these people were exceptionally careful, thorough, and carefully cleaned up all the debris. I didn’t use this company because they were the least expensive, ---and they were---but simply because they were clearly uncommonly thorough in answering my concerns rather and educating me rather than being focused on selling the job.
