I love the cardio cinema. I use it every day. So I was a little irritated when gold's FB page stopped posting updates on what was playing.
I was super irritated when I show up to the gym and the entire area was out of order and with zero notice on FB or online at all. Clean the men's room a bit more throughly and often and update the FB page with important information about parts of the gym that are out of order (i.e. The cardio cinema) and I would say it was a great gym for the money. In fact: just keep the FB page updated and I'd give it a much higher rating.
UPDATE: A day after this review I went to the gym and the bathroom was damn near spotless and my beloved Cardio Cinema was up and running. I also got a sweet message from the gym in regards to my review. It just pushed up the review 2 stars for me. I really appreciate it and as I re-read my original review I have to say I think it may have sounded harsh. I completely left off the fact that the staff are always great to me and that can't be understated.

I've been a member for two weeks now. Personnel are very polite and attentive. The only thing I can say needs improvement is when you get the health assessment done. Even though the trainer was very professional and very attentive in what I wanted and my expectations, and also my medical conditions that needs to be adapted to my workout, he didn't physically weighed me in the scale, didn't measured my arms, legs, chest/back and abdominal area, no BMI taken, and no One rep max, and after that wanted me to sign up for more personalized workout. I understand that's his job and he need to be remunerated for it, but when I signed up nobody told me anything about a personal trainer service. I thought it was part of the service since I choose the 24 something bucks a month program. Othet than that small glick, everything else rocks! Thankful and motivated! More...

I always get a good work out when I go to either location depending on my schedule and what side of town I end up on during the week but everything usually goes well for me with this gym since I joined almost five years ago? there was one incident with me not getting my money back for my card being charged every two weeks for trainer work outs I stopped attending y know bc I kept up with working out on my own after awhile so instead of giving me my money back they gave me 68 free trainer work outs smh kinda ridiculous if you ask me I’m so busy where am I goanna find time to attend that many work out sessions in the next year or so with my schedule bro? The gym itself is ok, I always see someone cleaning something as far as the staff goes. My only wish is that they would enforce people to clean the equipment after they use it! ! Rarely do I see anyone wiping down the machines when they are done, I’ve even seen people talking to staff members and then walk away from the machine without cleaning it! Just NASTY More...
