I absolutely love Gold's Gym Clearwater! The staff is always friendly, courteous, and they go above and beyond to help their client base. They have a very welcoming atmosphere at the gym which is missing in a lot of gyms today. Being a professional wrestler, I depend on my body to stay strong to be able to perform. I was visiting Clearwater Beach from New York and needed a convenient and reputable Gym to work out at while on vacation. It was an easy 15 minute drive from my hotel in Clearwater Beach and the Perfect place to go for a gym freak who needed a little bit more than the standard hotel gym . We were on beach vaca but happened on Gold’s Gym while looking for a place for our son to do his college football workouts. The staff (Stuart, Joe, Joey and the young lady whose name i didn’t get at the front desk)were amazing, accommodating and helped us with a week pass for him and couple of day passes for me. This is solid gym if you're looking to get a good workout. I go here when I'm seriously trying to workout. The staff members are all pretty friendly and will help you if needed. I like the fact that they offer full body scans which give them the ability to break down your body composition letting you know how much of your body is lean body mass, how much is fat, body fat percentage etc..Sauna is included and they have an area upstairs with boxing bags which I use occasionally for some rigorous cardio. They also have a carpeted area downstairs occasionally used for personal training but when not being used they have a sled that you can use,Tire flip with a sledgehammer, and box jump platforms.I would definitely recommend this gym it's in a good area and it's located in a plaza with a grocery store nearby just in case you needed to grab something for dinner. What a great place to workout! No pressure, no discomfort, no weirdos. Totally kind and genuine staff and trainers. Greg the trainer especially. He is professional, supportive and encouraging, courteous and truly knows his stuff. The PT specials are affordable and work for my budget! I'm enjoying the new, quality machines, with a new "booty blaster" machine and rowing machines just added in the last 2-months! Classes look packed all the time, boxing bags and ropes, up to 50lb kettle bells! Best investment in myself possible! Oh, and they have a sauna in the privacy of the clean and roomy locker room, showers, private changing rooms and overall just a great facility. Members are friendly and go about their business, totally comfortable environment. Quality pro-shop, protein shakes and other workout supplements available, they thought of everything! Highly recommended to all people- from beginners to elite. Thanks especially to Stuart, Joe, Greg and Nancy for making my experience incredible. #1 gym in Pinellas!
