My name is Katie Guillory, and I am the Lead Coach at Goldmine Coaching. I offer one-one-one coaching and group coaching workshops for people looking to battle their inner critic and be the best version of themselves.

Here are some things to know about me:

I believe that all the “gold” is already there in each of us. It just takes a bit of mining to get to the good stuff.

I love people and connecting with them.

I want to see you and know you - and understand you.

I am extremely easy to talk to.

I have a knack for asking just the right questions to unlock insight (honed over decades as a qualitative researcher).

I will listen to you intently.

I am enthusiastic and love to find fun in the work.

I love language - and I believe we give many clues in what we say.

I am not afraid of emotions. I want you to express it all.

I will respect your boundaries - and help you set them if that is something that is difficult for you.

I want to help you see things clearly so you can take whatever next step is there for you in life. I want you to succeed.

About my background:

Prior to coaching, I operated a successful marketing research business for 20 years, where I got to connect with thousands of people, learning about their thoughts, feelings, and behavior. The insight was nonstop.

Wanting to keep learning, I trained with psychotherapists and group therapists at the Center for Group Studies. I became a certified practitioner of NLP. I studied Linguistics at Harvard, where I got my undergraduate degree. I also am a certified counselor for domestic violence and sexual assault in CT. I run support groups for the Center for Education and Empowerment in Danbury, CT. All of this has led to my work as a coach.
