Overpriced and under delivered. - DO NOT RECOMMENDCar - We expected a limo and were greeted with a suburban. For someone who gets car sick, this was a pretty disappointing way to start your birthday wine tasting that you just flew across the country for. Not only that, but try to celebrate anything with 3 rows of people is less than conducive to connecting with anyone except the person right next to you. Lunch - The box lunch menu looked about as good as a box lunch sounds, but we gave it a chance. It was terrible. My husband was thinking we could stop elsewhere and get food - that was not an option. Wineries- We didn't receive the list of wineries we were touring until the morning of our tour. I didn't recognize a single one. That's okay, I was down to try done new ones but wanted at least one that I knew I loved. Trying to swap out one winery was than easy. The first winery was great, the second winery was not very tasty and upon arriving at the third winery (which looked like dump) and being told we may not have time for the one and only winery I wanted to go to - I told my people to down their tastings so we could get going. After that our driver loaded us back on the suburban with a lot of hesitation and several calls to his boss because he cancelled the third tasting and finally took us to the one winery requested (which was as delicious and beautiful as I remember). Private- For nearly double the price of a regular tour, we paid for a private tour. We were also under the impression that we could go and do whatever we wanted on a private tour. That is NOT the case. I repeat, NOT the case as noted above with lunch and itinerary changes. Not as advertised- We were told there would be water and champagne in the car. Not only was it extremely difficult to retrieve beverages in this seating arrangement, there was no champagne. The driver seemed as surprised as us that there was no champagne, and so kindly offered to stop at a liquor store so WE could buy some!!! Are you kidding me? We paid over $1,000 for 3 tastings (of which the 1st and 3rd were free because we bought wine and/or are members of their club) , a shitty box lunch, an uncomfortable suburban, 1 tiny  water each and no champagne - with no apology or attempt to accommodate or compensate. Outside of the wonderful people that came with me this was pretty much the worst birthday tour ever! More...
