My review will not be like most as we did not select Golden Gate entertainment as our first pick. Do not let that deter you and here is why-my Dj that I decided to originally book with cancelled on me less than 24 hours before our wedding. Frantically crying and searching I messaged Golden Gate and Matt responded. When I say he saved the day, he SAVED the day, Matt was punctual, was able to change songs on the fly, kept tge dance floor going through whole time! We even wanted to extend at the end we were having such a great time. Matt helped get my bouquet, helped with other running errands without being asked I mean truly a class act! Absolutely loved this company. Kyle, not only was there for my wedding and ran the show he kept up with me throughout the planning process. Lots of phone calls and check ins. My guests and myself (a dancer) had so much fun and they made it happen. They were on time to set up and were ready to go on time. I do not have words to describe how amazing Kyle and Matt from Golden Gate Entertainment were at my wedding, but not even just at my wedding – they were there every step of the way. I am a huge music lover and put a lot of thought into my wedding songs. I had heard horror stories of brides giving their DJ’s their wedding songs, but they just played their own song choices, or only played guest requests. This was NOT the case with Golden Gate Entertainment! Kyle spent hours talking to me about every song I wanted, when I wanted it played, when I wanted to switch songs etc. – and that was all before the big day.
On my wedding day, Kyle and Matt arrived on time and got straight to work. They brought the full setup and coordinated with my venue when needed so I didn’t have to stress at all! I loved the smaller setup for the ceremony, as it allowed the music to be heard and the microphone helped all our guests hear our vows. Then onto the reception… The personalized monogram on the dance floor set us apart from any wedding I’ve been to! The up lighting and large DJ booth filled the space beautifully and added a special ambiance. The photo booth was a huge hit with the guests, and they loved playing with all the props! All my guests raved over the text/email feature of the photo booth which allowed them to have a digital copy of the photos immediately as opposed to trying to keep up with a little photo all night (it was also an added plus getting to see everyone’s photo booth pictures online too!)
Now, I must talk about the “Dancing on Clouds” and Cold Sparklers affects… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph! This was by far the coolest thing I have ever seen in my entire life!!! It completely set my first dance apart and made for some of the coolest photos I’ve ever seen! They even brought the Cold Sparklers out for my grand exit (even more indescribably awesome photos)! If you want something to brag about from your wedding, make sure you get these two things, because I can guarantee you won’t find another company that does the things Golden Gate Entertainment does and that truly cares about getting everything perfect for your big day!
Finally, Kyle and Matt…. They are the coolest and most charismatic people I think I’ve ever met! They didn’t have a single moment of uncomfortable silence or sad faces. They were constantly smiling, singing and dancing along to the music, and always knew the perfect time to hype the crowd up a little bit more. Kyle and Matt truly know music too – They found the most perfect songs to pair with my song requests so that everything flowed! I can honestly say that my wedding would not have been the same without Golden Gate Entertainment! More...

Kyle and Matt are so talented and great at what they do! We couldn't have asked for better sound during our ceremony. When the ceremony had finished guests were sitting there and Kyle realized they never got dismissed and hopped right up on the mic and dismissed everyone for us . Kyle and Matt at Golden Gate Entertainment were absolutely incredible to work with! There was a slight mishap with the ceremony music due to their laptop overheating but they had a backup computer on standby and were able to get it up and running in just a minute or two. Our guests loved the photo booth they set up and only had good things to say about the interactions they had with Kyle and Matt. They are fun, easy to work with, and incredibly talented.
