Best bbq food I've had living in Colorado Springs (Security). And the potato salad reminds me of a TASTE OF BACK HOME. I can't wait to try everything on the menu! What can I say about this place?? Superb, excellent, amazing food. Even better? Superb, excellent, amazing people! Michael and crew did me a solid Saturday evening by providing me the BEST brisket plate ever! ! Now, I’m not normally a brisket fan, more of a pulled pork lover, but this brisket plate changed my mind!! Tender, moist, flavorful, YUMMY!! Along with the best potato salad that my mom didn’t make and great baked beans, I am a FAN!! I am from Texas and this BBQ rivals my favorite place at home. You can certainly taste the experience and love that goes into the food. If you are anywhere near Gold Tooth Annie’s with a craving for Texas BBQ, you’d be foolish to go anywhere else!! The brisket is absolutely superior, to any other restaurant or smoke shack in the Springs area. The fat and collagen was rendered down with an awesome buttery flavor. The smoke was fantastic, you could taste it without it being overpowering. it was the perfect complement to the simple, savory rub. I must say Micheal puts himself into his craft. This is smoked with love and the ever vigilant eye of a true Pitmaster. OMG. I live nearby and have seen this little shop pop up. I finally stopped today and I am very glad I did. I had the brisket sandwich with baked beans and potato salad. I didn't even need to use the side of bbq sauce that was included. the brisket was soooo moist and juicy. sides were good as well but the star is 100% the meat. Stopped by just to check it out and my goodness am I glad we stopped! Best brisket I’ve ever had in Colorado! Not only is the brisket tender but it’s not dry and you can tell it’s smoked the right way! My husband is from Texas and a bbq snob and he devoured it in 5minutes!
