Sam is truly the best! We've had our darling Jolyne for about 2 years now and while she is perfect in almost every regard she is a bit of a barker when it comes to strange noises or people coming to the door. Whenever our roommate comes home, despite her loving him to bits, she always borks as if he's a home invader! We tried offering treats and corrections and all sorts of things but nothing worked. Enter Gold Star Canine/Sam! Thanks to her online consultation we've been able to significantly reduce Jolyne's barking. It's such a blessing because my partner has auditory processing difficulties and loud barks can trigger migraines so Sam has been a life saver! I highly recommend Sam as a trainer and I will be coming to her if Jolyne develops any other "quirks" ;) More...

What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love being able to help others created a bond with their new family member, or strengthen a bond with an existing one. I love to see the happy bonds repaired. I also love seeing the foundation being built to a happy life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to foster a business that worked with the client and the dog - I also wanted to branch out into virtual dog training. However, finding a place that would meet all those needs was near impossible. I decided to start my own and show that combination is ideal.
Why should our clients choose you?
Some say the secret to dog training is patience. We prefer to think of it as a stubborn determination to build communication, as we find most issues stem from a lack of effective communication. That's why our main goal is to bridge the communication gap between you and your pup, so you never have to choose between your beloved pet and anyone's happiness!
We also make training your pup as convenient as possible by doing our training remotely. Aside from the exceptional convenience of remote training, it also allows your pup to train in whatever place is best for them. For most pups, that's their very own home! For the pups who do better elsewhere, the only thing you need is an internet connection. No traveling to the trainer, no stress from all the other dogs, just you and your best friend, wherever you are.

I only provide services online/remotely. I have set up with professional equipment; including lighting, sound, and recording to make the best online service available. I do lessons via Zoom.
