My husband treated me to a massage and facial today. I've always been very hesitant about people touching my face because I have very sensitive skin. So I had not had a facial for over 10 years until today. Lately I've just been having some blemishes and dead skin and thought maybe it would be a good idea to finally give facial a try. Still hesitant that something could go wrong, so I did some research about this place before I went forward with the facial appt. I was glad I did! Both the body massage and facial were phenomenal! Rose was my gal for both. Rose was very straightforward with me and pointed out the problems I had simply by touching and looking at me. I walked out of there happy with glowing, beautiful skin! No exaggeration: Glow Day Spa changed my life. I hadn't gotten a massage in over a year because I had a negative spa experience that turned me off of getting massages for a while. I have cardiopulmonary disease and a genetic condition that limits my mobility. Rose massaged my body using pressure points to improve blood and oxygen flow through the body. After the massage the swelling in my legs was gone for the first time in months, I could breathe better, and I was not in pain. As someone who has spent years seeing specialists, taking high doses of medications and having dangerous operations that have kept me alive but done little to make me feel better, this was nothing short of magical. Wow wow wow wow wowI left this place speechless after 1.5 hours of massage and 30 minutes facial.  Honestly one of the best massages and facials I have ever had. In the facial they must have used over 20 different creams and the massage pressure was exactly what I asked for and if you tell them where your pain is you will get that special attention in those areas. The front desk girl was very knowledgeable nice presentable and beautiful; Helen the owner was there as well and I had the honor to get a massage from her. Never thought about spoiling myself but eventually I caved in and got myself a massage. I was able to upgrade to the hot stones and cbd massage and let me tell you that was THE PERFECT COMBINATION. I felt so relaxed and well taken care of she was not afraid to go deep and take out those hard knots! She was super friendly since the moment I walked into the Spa. I feel like a stumbled upon an absolute gem of a spa right here in Orange. I scheduled a facial and massage for Saturday on a whim because I was feeling sore and needed a little me time. I scheduled for 9 AM, however when I went to look for directions their website stated they opened at 10 AM. I was a little concerned, but decided to go anyways in case it was a glitch. That morning I received a call confirming my appointment, and immediately put my mind at ease. I was a few minutes late because I had a hard time finding the entrance, it's located on the inside of the center, but I was never rushed or anything. My facial was with Helen I believe, and she was incredible. She really made me feel relaxed and comfortable through the whole thing. Update: second visit did not provide as great of an impression. The masseuse has onion breath and breathed into my face while working on my upper body. She also had rough scratchy hands. Halfway through the massage, I asked for more intensity, but it did not last. I think she got tired. I didn't have super high expectations, but was still somewhat disappointed.  / Original review:  Enjoyed a couple's massage here on my day off with husband. The service was good and to-the-point. Not a lot of frills here, but attention is paid to decor and relaxing music.  My masseuse was very accommodating. She started with "medium" strength but slowly moved on to "deep" when she sensed that I could use more work. She occasionally stops to ask if I'm okay and created a very therapeutic experience. I went for the detox/pure relaxation massage that I received a coupon for today. I loved it. My skin felt smoother and polished. The massage was 'out of this world' good! One of the best I've had, truly. I wished I had booked the extra 30 minutes. I will be going back for sure. I always look for the coupons, which you can get by requesting their newsletter online. Attention consumers who want to try this place out and purchased a couple message deal from groupon. There will be a 10 dollars extra charge if you want to use your groupon deal on the weekend. If this confusion can be clearly stated on the groupon deal's page, we as the consumer would for sure appreciate the service they offer here.I also have a couple suggestions for this spa place.1. Providing a container for clothes.2. Better selection of music.When it comes to message time, our feelings and senses are very sensitive to the surrounding and the pressure applied by the massage therapist. I could be crazy to think that the music should make me feel like "a vacation in Maldives". However, the music made me feel like "a adventure in a magical place" and the next one was "getting lost on an unknown while getting chased on aliens". My husband and I booked a couples massage and we were pleasantly surprised. The massage was very good and intense, but in a good way. The few complaints that we have are that- our massage was scheduled at 4:00, however we didn't start the massage until 4:45. Thankfully we weren't in a rush, but this could have put a damper on our experience.
