Nice day outside for a pretty, pretty good lunch. They even turned the fire pit on for us. Terrific meals consisting of Greek salad (2), Korean corn dog, fried rice and a falafel serving. Canned beer is canned beer, but the orange crush was outstanding. Sitting outside sure beats carryout and eating at home like we did last time during the COVID concerns. More...

Meh- it was ok. My husband really wanted to eat here so we did. I got the wings- which were ok- and the elote which was strangely more like a corn chowder than served on the cob. We spent about $80 including tip for 2 adults and 2 kids and the only thing one of my kids wanted - fries- he's not super adventurous with food- wasn't included in our order. Cool concept for a restaurant but probably not for us . More...

I ordered a bunch of food for my family so we could try different meals from AWOG - the birria tacos, cali burrito, empanadas, bulgogi, and churro donuts. I would recommend about 1/2 of the dishes we had. The best item that we ordered were the donuts by far. The toppings and flavors were right on point for churros. I would highly recommend them. The second best were the birria tacos. Although greasy, they were good and filled with lots of cheese and meat. For the other items, I was not a fan. The empanadas were a bit dry and needed some kind of sauce to make them worth ordering. I regret ordering them. I also regret ordering the bulgogi as it was too over-seasoned. Ironically this, on the other hand, was drenched in sauce, making it too much! My dad couldn't eat beyond a taste because it was too sweet for him. The cali burrito was okay. It was good but not great. Hence the 3 stars. I really wanted to like this place but didn't live up to the hype of its IG page. Sorry! More...

First time here.  Staff was friendly and kind. I ordered the arepa, sando, and banana pudding. The arepa was tender and flavorful. Love the parmesan cheese sprinkled on top the crispness of the biscuit(?). I will definitely be back for just that alone. It was that good. The sando was a HUGE chicken cutlet between a burger bun and slaw. That was ok. A bit dry but the slaw added flavor. The banana pudding was so good that I ordered 3 to go :) I will surely return to this quaint looking jem. More...

Since my local food group deleted my review I'll leave one here. So I ate at world of good this evening because of all the rave reviews. It was not good. I make better food from my kitchen that tastes more authentic than they do. I would not recommend this place. My husband and I got a variety of things and the portions vs the price alone wasn't worth it. The best thing I ate was the Korean corn dog and 1 tiny corn dog that only has unmelted cheese at the top was not worth $6. The empanadas tasted like mothballs. I'm guessing they put too much allspice in them. They were nasty! Birria tacos tasted like unseasoned pork tacos. I loved the idea of all the different foods into one but I'd rather just go to individual restaurants. The taste just wasn't there. I really wanted to love this place since it's so close to home. Me and friend decided to check out this place after going to the beach around 6pm. It started to get busy, but we were able to get seating outside. This was great as I had my dog with me (dog-friendly place!). The place was aesthetically pleasing with murals, decor, lights, etc. which adds nicely to the atmosphere and the vibe the place gives off! We both ordered the Beef Bulgogi and for dessert, the fudge brownie and banana pudding. The Beef Bulgogi was not the best, but not the worst either (having lived in Asia and loving Asian fusion, I came in with certain expectations). The rice was dry, the beef was ok, the desserts were a little bit sweet, but ok. Portion sizes were smaller than expected. Overall, the customer service was ok. It was getting busy and with Covid, paper plates and plastic cutlery were used. We were confused when we were given our food as we didn't get any spoons/forks/knives and we were not informed that we had to actually go inside and get them ourselves.I may check A World of Good out again in the future to try other dishes on their menu, but for now 3/5*s. I only went once so far, it is out of our normal path but I am so excited to go again to try more things. They have a nice outdoor space to sit which was helpful for us. They were out of a lot of items on this busy evening but from what we tried the stand outs were the Korean corn dog, and the arepa. The arepa was different than other arepas I have tried but was a big surprise. The orange crush hit the spot on the hot day we visited. They said that lunch is a good time to get the most choices without certain items running out. We got several items to try and share and it was fun to get a taste of several things. We were shocked at how quickly our food came out, so nice when you have hungry kids. They can get people in and out of here quickly, since it is similar to ordering like a Panera and they bring food out to you. Wish there was more local spots able to do this style of quick service with this high quality of food! More...

It was beautiful, almost fall weather on Saturday.  The place was quaint little place off E Oceanview a block from the ocean. I have ordered delivery prior to this visit but first time dine in. I have ordered korean hotdogs, empanadas and momo burgers via delivery. They were all very good. I highly recommend everyone to try hotdogs. They were just perfect with the sauce they serve with. Momo burger comes with noodle bun that I have never had and was interesting and also delicious. The set up of the restaurant is you order and pay at the counter, you grab a seat and they bring your dish out. We decided dine outside to enjoy the weather. We happened to be there right before brunch was over, able to order poached eggs, spicy sausage (well menu stated pork belly but it was still very good) tater tots and gravy. Although food was delicious, explanation of the substitution would been nice and maybe offer side of toast would be a great option I thought. Also ordered Og cheeseburger and that was very good with just right amount of cheese and sauce. Bun was buttered toasted and came with perfect crispy fries. The portions are pretty small so be prepared to order few dishes, if you are really hungry . I can't wait to try more deliciousness in near future. More...

Based off of the 4.5 star rating I was excited to check this place out. I know personally we won't be returning. The food is very generic, Pork Belly Mac n Cheese barely had pork belly and tasted like basic mac n cheese. As far as traditional this place doesn't hit that mark, the Korean Corn Dog was okay at best, top half cheese and bottom half hotdog. The bulgogi (we sent back) was tough, thick cuts, an interesting sauce on top and the rice was old and crunchy. The quesabirria was the best thing we got, it is still not traditional though. Overall, I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a traditional meal of any of these cuisines. Customer service was amazing though, plenty of seating, and atmosphere was cool. More...

Gave A World of Good a try after seeing a viral Facebook video and wow-- I understand the hype!In hindsight I'm glad my husband and I visited when they were a little slow because the inside is not very large at all with only a few tables. I did notice while we were there that they do a bumper to-go business! I would definitely recommend that if you live near by. They do have a large outdoor section with lots of seating as well. The person who took our order was very friendly and made recommendations for which beer we should get. After placing our order, we took a seat and waited for our food. First to arrive was our appetizer, the AWOG nachos. The nachos were packed with flavor and were a good size for us to split. Next came our entrees, the quesabirria tacos (we each got an order) and the elote. One of the main reasons we decided to eat at AWOG was because they have birria tacos which are super popular right now, and not a ton of places have them! They did not disappoint and we were sipping the broth from the cup in no time. The elote was equally as good, and the environmentalist in me loved how both the elote and broth came in biodegradable containers. Yay finally got to check this place out after a day at the beach!! So you know we were hungry after being out in the heat.  This is a very small place, only about 5 tables inside but they do have outside sitting. You go in grab a menu, grab a seat & then just walk up to the counter and order, pretty simple. I ordered a the Bulgogi, Empanadas & the infamous Korean Corn dog lol. I loooove bulgogi so I had to try there's out. The Bulgogi came out in a good size bowl with rice. Definitely enough for one person. It was a little more of the sweeter side to me BUT it was still delicious. I saved more than half for later bc I still had 2 other things to try.Next I tried the empanadas another one of my favorite foods. Very crispy, the meat was shredded and really juicy & the empanada was actually FILLED, it also came with a side of dipping sauce. Not really sure what was in it, but it tasted really good on top of the empanadas. A order only came with 2 for $8 which is a bit pricey for 2 empanadas but worth it IMO.Finally I tried the Korean Corn Dogs I've been dying to try since I've heard of this place. First bite & it was AMAZINGGG, the first half of the corn dog was filled with cheese, imagine a mozzarella stick but WAY better especially since it's drizzled with some kind of sauce. Then you get to the hot dog part & it did not disappoint. Definitely not your ordinary corn dog.  This is a MUST when you visit here! I wished I had ordered two of them.So overall this place is highly recommended. Different types of food from different parts of the world. So there's something for everyone's taste. Oh & plus! Visited on 6/19/2021: After a long day of travelling from PA, we decided to order takeout from AWOG. We placed our order at the counter and waited at a nearby table for our order. The young lady taking our order was incredibly friendly and pleasant, and she was extremely efficient. They accidently gave us fried rice instead of French fries, but they immediately got us some fries and let us keep the fried rice as well. Everyone working there seemed really friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. They even had a station next to the takeout counter with small packets of hot sauce, napkins, and utensils, which was exactly what we needed. When we got back to our hotel, we laid out all of our food and instantly devoured all of it. I had the sweet and spicy chicken bites, which were like a buffalo chicken nugget coated in honey (absolutely delicious), and the arepa, which just like it says on the menu, is just like a Latin American pulled pork sandwich. WOW, this was insanely good. My husband had the po' boy sandwich and he said it rivaled ones he's had in New Orleans previously. The coating was crispy and the roll held up really well. He wished it had been spicier, but that was easily fixed with some of the hot sauce packets we grabbed from AWOG. We tried to get takeout the following Monday (6/21/2021) but they were closed due to some sort of maintenance, so we were really disappointed. When we left on Tuesday (6/22/2021) we also wanted to stop by to grab lunch for the road, but they were still closed. Overall, we were extremely impressed with AWOG.
