Edited: Heard back from management, training is taking place and was offered coupons. Not interested in getting them though, I only wanted to help them understand customer service was dropping. I hate to do this... I have been coming here for about a year now and loved it! They changed some things on their menu but that’s not why I’m writing this although that kind of stinks. I’m writing this based on the customer service aspect. The last two times there is a very thin shorter young lady who gave me an attitude both times. I didn’t say anything last time because I realIze we all have bad and good days. And she is clearly in a supervisory role so it wouldn’t make sense to complain at the store. Also, they have changed their portion size, kind of silly but I get it and I never finish it anyway but that could be perceived as a negative. Today my rice was served already and she felt it was too much on the plate so she dumped it back in and made sure I only got one scoop. lol ridiculous but also unsanitary. If management wishes I change my review please contact me to listen to your consumers. On a good note: There is a new girl heavy set African American great customer service! I think everyone with the 1 star and rude reviews have nothing better to do. The people at this restaurant work the hardest especially the GM. No one is perfect, people make mistakes. Been here several times. Food is always good, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, the restaurant is clean. I used their catering for a small meeting at church and very literally, everyone in attendance loved the food!

They have great healthy, flavorful salads here, although the last time I was there they still hadn't made their way onto the printed menu.  I love the Village salad. You can choose from any of their meats to add - souvlaki and pork gyros are my favorites!  Their lemon vinaigrette is delicious. I usually add my own lettuce mix at home and it's large enough for 2 meals.  If you buy a salad you get a coupon for $ off your next order after 4 pm. More...

This is one of my favorite lunch place in Schaumburg! My power lunch menu is the kale salad with chicken, hummus, salsa, eggplant and grilled vegetable. All together it makes great unique flavor. This place came close to losing me as a customer. I was in yesterday I ordered a regular gyros sandwich. It was EXTREAMLY dry. I brought it back up and asked to speak to the manger. The manager was super sweet, very apologetic and quickly had the cook cut me fresh gyro straight from the machine. (Next time when I come I will ask for it to be right off of there. They keep it in pans on the steam table) The cook was also very apologetic and was happy to cut me fresh. The 2nd gyros I must say was much better.
