Small business owners got into the business they are in because they are passionate about the work they are doing and creating/growing a successful business. Business owners are not business because they want to enter invoices, cut checks, figure out payroll, compute taxes and collect money from customers, that's what I'm passionate about and I want to help small business owners be successful.

I believe accountants, regardless if they are independent or are part of a larger organization, are a critical part of an organization. They develop systems so the business owner can focus on what they do best. That what I like to do, contribute my knowledge and expertise to the success of the business!

I had my own restaurant and loved it, cooking was not my passion or core competency but managing the rest of the business was. I love to organize, help people get organized and show them how to reap the benefits having solid systems in place in order to have a strong business.

Because I know the whole concept of accounting can be intimidating to some entrepreneurs. I like to think of myself as approachable and have the ability to explain accounting in terms everyone can understand without coming off as pompous and a know it all. Even if I'm knowledgeable about a subject, I'm always open to learning. The combination of my temperament and over 30 years of accounting management across a diverse group of industries, makes me best candidate for helping entrepreneurs and small business owners/managers understand their financial situation.
