Glam on the Run

I absolutely loved working Breanne and Lilly for my wedding makeup and hair. I did a hair and makeup trial with them 4 months before the wedding since I was coming from out of town and wanted to make sure I knew exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. They absolutely nailed the style I wanted and were receptive when I told them about certain features I wanted to change. On my wedding day my makeup and hair were perfect even after hours of sweating and moving around in 90 degree desert heat. I honestly don't know how I would have looked if I had went with someone else.

What an incredible team Glam On the Run has for transforming a girl from glum to gorgeous! Days leading up to the wedding Breanne was helpful, kind and went upon and beyond to get purple shampoo out of my extensions after a mishap with my hair dresser back home in AZ hours before we flew to CA. Rain on my wedding day? Check. Mother being an insane lady? Check. Having my 10 month old needing me to hold her while trying to get my hair and makeup done? Check. Your wedding day may be stressful by Glam on the Run saved me from having a complete meltdown. Not only are they professional, but they're helpful. They made sure everyone felt beautiful, but also reminded us why we were all there. Working in an Airbnb full of stressed out ladies can't be easy, but GOTR was a calm presence within the madness. I have never felt more beautiful than how they made me feel on my wedding day. Side note (grab your tissues), my mother-in-law has early onset Alzheimer's and the way her hair and makeup turned out was the best wedding gift my husband and I could have received - she looked like "herself" and we hadn't seen that in years. Glam on The Run is a duo and I had Lily as my makeup artist. She did my makeup trial as well as my wedding day makeup and hair. The main reason I went with them was value/price and flexibility (they came to me/my house - and early morning too at no extra cost) which I appreciated. I shopped around a lot and I think this (getting a makeup artist) is one of the pricier things, that while worth the money (to not have to stress to look your best) you still wishing you could save a bit on the budget on. Overall she did a good job, she was very quiet, probably because she was concentrating, and everything was sanitary and professional. Lilly was recommended to me by my sister Gloria to do my hair and makeup for my son's wedding. I was scared at first since this was my first time ever in my 52 years that I had a makeup and hair style done by a professional. After seeing what Lilly did to my sister's Gloria's hair and makeup for her son's wedding, I told her to book Lilly for me. She made me look so beautiful and my hair was gorgeous. When searching for a professional hair and makeup artist, I found GOTR on Craiglist. I had a trial makeup session with Bre and I loved the work she did. On the day of my son's wedding, Bre ended up with food poisoning but sent Lilly in her place. I was very nervous but as soon as I met Lilly, she put me at ease and assured me that everything would be ok. What a blessing in disguise that Lilly was sent to me. Lilly is exceptionally talented with makeup and hair. She has an eye for bringing out the glamour and beauty in me. She airbrushed my makeup which did not smear the whole day. She did a fabulous job with my hair  as well. My son's wedding was in July (hot). I also cried a lot as it was my only son's wedding. I received lots of compliments on both my hair and makeup. I felt so beautiful and my photos came out fabulous. I since have had Lilly do my sister's makeup and hair for her son's wedding as well as my makeup and hair for his wedding. These gals are Top Notch! Very professional, punctual, easy to work with, and accomodating, and did I not mention flexible. Not to mention their expertise in making you look like a million bucks while keeping you "Natural". Can't say enough Phenomenal things about them, especially Breanne! Love Love love her! Breanne knew exactly what to do to make me look gorgeous! I don't wear a lot of make-up so I was afraid of what I might look like with a professionally done face. I turned out beautiful with smokey eyes and even toned skin. I felt like a princess for my daughter's wedding. I hired Bre and her team to do our hair and make-up for my November wedding. The team was such a pleasure to work with! I had a morning wedding, so the girls and I had to be up at 4am to get ready! Bre and her team were at our hotel at 4:15am ready to work on 7 ladies + 2 flower girls! They got everything done in 5 hours and we all looked amazing :) My make-up and hair stayed in tact for the rest of the day and I looked perfect for our day. Not only is she a pleasure to work with, her packages are seriously a steal of a deal. A lot of make-up places have travel fees and "before 7am" fees. She didn't charge extra for having to be at our hotel before the crack of dawn and that was super helpful for our budget.
