Gretchen is amazing to work with! She takes in to account all aspects that go into home design and redesign, including budget and personal style which are very important. She is entertaining, caring, prompt and professional. She transformed my very outdated, vintage condo into a high-end luxurious, downtown living space. Gretchen has the most tremendous amount of creative ideas for colors, spaces, fabrics and materials and can bring to life anything you have pictured. If that picture is blank, Gretchen will develop a plan that leaves you in awe and your home a brand new space. I recently purchased a big fixer in Del Cerro and needed to redesign the entire kitchen, dining room, family room and living room. I was working with a few different general contractors but I was not getting anywhere on the vision I had with design.

I reached out to Gretchen and she was amazing from the start. She met me at the property, immediately took measurements, listened to my vision and was able to provide me a couple of design options within 48 hours. Gretchen nailed it! Overall she did 6 or 7 options and we did a little tweak here and there and ended up selecting option 2 which gave me everything. Now the fun begins with the construction. I will definitely regroup with Gretchen for the interior design aspect as well once we get to that point.

I highly recommend Gretchen. She was fast, knowledgeable, experienced and very talented! You will not be disappointed.

GKDG did an OUTSTANDING job remodeling/designing our home in Point Loma. My husband and I were blown away at the level of creativity, detail, and professionalism that Gretchen and her team displayed. This was a huge undertaking for all of us considering we had to tear down the existing home. As with most remodels, there are many moving pieces between multiple points of contact (GC's, vendors, etc). Gretchen went above and beyond to make sure all parties involved were on the same page and that timelines were met. As far as the design and furnishings of the house, we couldn't have been happier. She took time to get to know us and better understand how we live and what we required for living space. Her vision aligned with what we needed for a growing family of 4. Gretchen's team is also very impressive as they were very friendly and available to help at any time. We will definitely use GKDG for our next project! More...
