I have heard a lot of bad things about the psychiatrist but my counselor there is a gem. Kahtleen is amazing and very down to earth - super easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable. I never feel ashamed or judged, she is a real people person and knows a lot about what she's talking about. I high recommend her - I've made a lot of progress with my anxiety and depressing (and coping skills) since seeing her every other week. More...

The doctor is arrogant - no question about it. However, if you can get past that, he actually is very knowledgeable and knows what he's doing. He's done wonders for my child, but his "bedside manner" leaves much to be desired. More...

Gloria is, to date, the only therapist in Wisconsin who is Gottman certified.  Which is a big deal as it's quite a process to get certified and it's a highly-sought after certification in the field.  For those wondering what "Gottman" means, it's referring to John Gottman who is a nationally-recognized researcher who, together with his wife, have spent decades researching marriage and developing evidence-based workshops, writing books, etc. Their approach can strengthen happy relationships and help repair troubled ones. Given her certification, Gloria not only offers couples therapy using the Gottman method but she is also able to offer Gottman's workshops locally (no need to fly to Seattle to Gottman headquarters!)  People actually fly here to attend this workshop!  Gloria does an excellent job presenting the material in an engaging way with a touch of humor. My expectations were way exceeded in the workshop I attended, it really was money and time well spent!  I think other attendees felt similarly as I noticed peoples' moods seemed improved   Her style is approachable and she makes you feel comfortable to be around.  Discounts on the workshop are available if you're a fellow therapist or Veteran. I would highly recommend attending a workshop here as everyone can benefit from improved communication methods and strategies on how to repair things after a fight. More...
