Their website's nutrition tab is full of misinformed and outdated info. I'm not sure if the team of people who created this website have any actual nutritionists on board, because most of the stuff posted regarding nutrition is just propaganda, mainly the "diets with high fat, high protein & low carbs are the way to go". There's NO low-carb diet out there that has been scientifically proven to be sustainable or successful for weight-loss in the long term, as people will typically just lose water weight and then plateau or gain it back. Even the Keto Diet has been debunked as of this past February. The key to eating healthy is not by starving yourself of a certain macronutrient and by watching all of your calories, not just carbs. I mean every macro consists of calories...you eat too much protein or fats, the calories from them aren't going to magically disappear in your body. It'll get stored just the same... More...

My wife is going to the Andover Studio. It was great the first year with the trainer Aaron. Then he left and it has been down hill since then. It was a corporate owned studio then someone bought it. They lie and enter weight into the system when my wife was away on vacation. Since Aaron left, no one talks about nutrition and no one does the weekly weighs in. I think get in shape in North attleboro is mismanaged and a disgrace to even promote the program. Almost 2 yrs ago I joined and paid for a yr in full, with them understanding a chronic disease I have, which ended up getting worse after only being yhere maybe 3 months. My disease took me across the country to meet with a specialist. I was told with a dr. Note I would get a refund within a week. Going on two yrs, and I'm told that the owner doesn't have the money. I was even open to smaller installments and nothing. I am out over 2 thousand dollars but still have to pay my credit card as so much time had passed. Disgusted that no one will rectify this situation. Looks like small claims court might be the way to go. More...

Beware ladies! The former owners of Get in Shape - West Roxbury and Get in Shape Corporate are crooks and do not know how to properly run a business. They also have no respect for their clients and employees. They permanently closed the West Roxbury studio on December 27th and gave us 2 days notice via email. 2 days after Christmas 85 women were displaced, our trainer left jobless, and our manager demoted. Get in Shape still has my money (approx $900) and no one has called me back regarding a refund despite many inquiries to the former owners of West Rox and Corporate over the past two weeks. I was a member at Get in Shape West Roxbury since May 2012 and enjoyed the program a lot. The manager and trainer at the West Roxbury studio were excellent I renewed my membership in May of 2013 and paid in full for the entire year (May 2013- May 2014) because the price was increasing significantly. I now feel abandoned and trapped, because I paid up front, where as, women who paid monthly could easily cancel their memberships. The studio closing has become a major inconvenience for me, and has disrupted my fitness routine. I am also extremely disapointed by the poor execution of this transition and lack of communication from GISFW- West Rox owners and GISFW Corporate.
