Working with Whitney is the main change I made last year, and the investment has paid off in every aspect of my life. I've hit all of my goals and then some. I've committed to a routine I can finally sustain. I've built strength, muscle, and stamina. I reached new milestones in months that I'd expected to take years. I see flattering numbers on scales. I look better in mirrors. I feel more capable and well fed. All sorts of random pains are gone. Whitney knows how to meet someone where she is without judgment. She's extremely easy to be around. She pays attention, and she knows what she's doing. If you show up consistently, you will make progress you've been struggling to make on your own. I attended Whitney's group classes at GirlPower Fitness before the pandemic and struggled with the pivot of going virtual and not having the same commitment level. I could not push myself to consistently commit to a routine. I had taken personal training classes previously with Whitney and enjoyed the focus on strength training and she also helped me with balance, which I have learned is critical as I am aging! I started taking a couple personal training classes each week a few months back and it has give me the motivation to work out on my own on the days I am not with Whitney. I am beyond thankful I found GirlPower Fitness! Back in October of 2021 I started looking for personal trainers (not in a gym setting since I have a medically fragile kiddo at home) who requires all customers/clients to be fully COVID vaccinated -- Girl Power Fitness does! After a few sessions with Whitney, her fitness philosophy gave me the motivation I needed to prioritize my work lunch hour on me (ie: getting stronger, better posture, and lose baby weight (from kiddo #3)). I have been working with Whitney since November of 2021and I have lost 25 pounds (from consistency, eating right and prioritizing my health during my work week). More importantly my sessions with Whitney reminds me that my fitness is part of my daily self-care routine which I have forgotten about being a mom of 3 children + having a Full-Time (compensated) job! What I love about working out with Whitney? I love that she has me warm up before our workouts, that includes activating my glutes (something I need). She is intuitive in creating varied effective workouts for my body. Workouts our challenging yet doable. I feel stronger since I’ve been training with Whitney and would recommend her as a personal trainer! I also enjoy her company! Whitney is the best! I love having a resource like this in the neighborhood, rather than having to hike it to a gym. She works with you on what you want to accomplish, diet, strength, weight loss, etc. I’ve gotten so much stronger through reasonably priced private coaching. Whitney, the instructor and owner, has something for everyone. Barre, Pilates and Boot Camp are a few of the many classes she teaches. I recently attended Whitney's R+R (Rest and Recovery) Class and it was amazing. I can not say enough about how much this place is great. Being only for women helps me enjoy working out. Whitney offers some super fun, incredible group classes each day such as dance, kick boxing, pilates and more. I really enjoy the level of classes. I actually look forward to working out! I’ve been taking private lessons with Whitney from GirlPower fitness for two months. I love her bright and positive attitude. She provides encouragement and confidence without the militant, power-trip behavior found with many gym trainers. Every session she changes things up, constantly keeping the workouts challenging. Some of the moves are even fun! (not ‘the mermaid’, don’t let her trick you into thinking ‘the mermaid’ is fun) Whether you’re a fitness fanatic or have never touched a tennis shoe, Whitney will tailor workouts that are a perfectly fit just for you. I love Girl Power Fitness! I initially signed up for private training sessions, and eventually transitioned to the group classes. I always get a great workout and leave feeling ready to take on anything! I get compliments on my muscle tone and have definitely noticed a difference in my energy levels since taking classes with Whitney (owner). The gym is clean, bright, and has cutting edge equipment. I just can't say enough wonderful things about Girl Power Fitness and Whitney. I searched and searched for something that would be flexible to my schedule and understand the needs of a 57 year old woman trying to feel good about herself again! Whitney is a fabulous trainer. It's like doing a class with your best friend. I have been amazed at the number of different exercises we do and after my first 6 weeks (2x a week) I had to throw out a pant size. I just resigned for another 6 weeks. Whitney also talks about foods and asks questions about diet which has made me become such a better eater. Not a better cook (never gonna happen) but I am much more aware of what I will and will not eat. This has really been the best thing that I have ever done for myself and I do hope my schedule will allow we to join some group classes too! I have always been a little shy about group classes but this cozy environment is so NOT intimidating.My 15 year old daughter does horse eventing and did a few private classes with Whitney to strenghten her core further and learn some exercises that she does right in her bedroom. Whitney is my current trainer and wow, she's amazing! I couldn't recommend her enough. Not only do clients get to work out in the privacy of her home gym, but her equipment is clean and always prepared, she always has a custom workout planned, and her rates are extremely reasonable! She is flexible with scheduling, easy to communicate with but still pushes clients accordingly, and just a great person to work with. Highly recommend!!! More...

Whitney led a bridal boot camp for us for a bachelorette party in Austin and it was amazing! She was super organized, but a lot of fun at the same time! The weather was really borderline that day so she was prepared to do the boot camp for us 13 girls both inside and outside! We lucked out and had a nice morning so we ended up doing the class outside on our lawn. But we were all VERY impressed with Whitney! Very professional and worked us hard!
