Absolutely fantastic, my type of Italian restaurant, the pizzeria in the front,Fine dining in the rear good prices Great specials, enormous selection on the menu, for Wine and liquor bar, Jill our waitress was fantastic attentive she knew everything, this place is a staple in the neighborhood, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I had the gios  pot roast (Sunday sauce) delicious, the chicken parmigiana outstanding , cannoli tasted like it was from a bakery , it was that good , Brought a grandma pie home and it was fantastic, stop by you won't be disappointed,,And by the way your Italian chicken soup was The best day ever had So many chunks of chicken

Horrible specialty slices, I even reached out to the owner and instead of saying I’m sorry you had a bad experience he argued with me and was completely arrogant and told me that his food can never be bad I will definitely not be recommending this place or ever going back

Still have some of the best pizza around! 1/2 chx parm 1/2 Buffalo chx pie for the win! Delicious as always!!! Don't forget to get a side of their AWESOME bleu cheese dressing for that spicy and delicious Buffalo sauce!!!

Placed order for small catering party. had penne a la vodka, chicken franchaise and a salad (their Italian dressing was awesome). All was so delicious, the sauce on the chicken I could not get enough of. everything was perfect!! Will definitely have them cater our future parties. More...

By way of recommendation, my wife and I stopped at Gio's after a nice hike at Hecksher Park. Â We stopped in and we felt extremely welcomed by the friendly owner and staff. Â They were helpful and explained what their signature slices/pies were. Â Being from the Commack area, we are used to over the top pizzerias... Gio's competes and beats all of them. Â Delicious slices and creative too! Â We had about 5 different types of slices, which were all fantastic. Â We can't wait to come back and try the deep dish meatball parm pizza pie. Over the years I have  been to Gio's many times and have never been disappointed! They make delicious pies with a variety of toppings ! The store is super immaculately clean and the staff is friendly and polite . Today I bought their chicken cutlet and mozzarella stuffed breads . During this pandemic I am taking a simple approach to my reviews, which is to only write reviews to that has amazing food/ service.  And I must say Gio's pizza is great. This review is solely based on delivery. It was a Saturday and my husband's family came over . We decided to order to order pizza for a late lunch. We ordered a grandma pie and a large plain  pie. The total was about $38 not including a tip. They made the delivery was made within 40 minutes or so. Not too bad , I would that's the typical delivery time. We devoured the plain. Our family including us loved the plain pizza. The sauce was perfect and the cheese was very tasty. We finished the plain quickly . Everyone was asking for more. Not because it was a small in size but because it was delicious.  The reason for the four stars ?  ... well I have to admit we didn't love the grandma pizza as much. When compared to the taste of the plain pizza the grandma was bit of a let down.  The sauce was bit too tangy for everyones  palette. And the sauce empowered the cheese and crust. It was not my favorite. I definitely had better. We will definitely plan on ordering from Gio's in the future but I think we will skip the grandma for now. More...
