So I haven't been to Gigi's Music Cafe in a few years. I was in the area so I said why not give it a try. When we got the there it was a little early so we beat the rush. Happy hour is daily 5-8 pm so we took advantage of it. The food was good soul food and everything we had was very tasty. They have a peach Chardonnay that's a must have! The live band Ladies of Soul was amazing.  It reminded me of a D.C. jazz spot. Hopefully  I'll be back soon to see what else they have to offer but if you're in the area you wont be disappointed if you give them a try! More...

I would've given Gigis 5 stars... The server Bambie, food (snapper, mac n cheese, collard greens, cornbread) and J Blue & band were all EXCELLENT. .. It was the Blue Raspberry margarita that gets a for me it was very weak and tasted like a virgin margarita. Need to put some alcohol in your drinks and this cafe would be AMAZING. More...

First time experience. Came with my mom who had been and raved about the crispy greens. I didn’t understand but it was the garnish around the soul rolls she really enjoyed. Ok. The rolls were better than the garnish in my opinion. She didn’t think they tasted the same as the first few times she had them. Get the sauce on the side is my suggestion. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and the veggie platter. Wish I’d taken pics. All good and tasty. The signature (key lime?) wine I wasn’t too fond of but I drank it. Next time I’ll try something else. Atmosphere was cozy. We were there just before a stepping dance event was to begin. There is a cover charge for that I feel should be docked from you bill if you are dining in. We weren’t charged, I’m just saying. Next time I’m in the area I will come again. More...

Oh My Goodness! This place is a hidden gem. It's tuck away in the corner of the plaza and very cozy inside. The lighting is dim and very intimate. Perfect for date night and there's even an AMC 8 in the same plaza. There's a live band that really sets the mood and the music selection was phenomenal. Our hostess, Solitaire, was pleasant and attentive. For appetizers we had the Soul rolls (collard green spring roll) with complimentary muffins. I ordered the loaded salad with shrimp and hubby ordered the smothered pork chops with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. Oooh wee!!
