I would have chosen all five big possible. Our DJ Jim Spann was great. He played all of our requested music but mixed it up well. He also took requests from our guests, so there was good variety of music playing that me and my wife didn’t chose beforehand. He was always quick to announce when we were doing something new. All of family and friends had a good time at our wedding and he had a part in that. Our guests really liked him as well. Where do I begin??
I had high expectations for GGC productions.
The reception part of my wedding was so important to me as it is to most brides.
The dancing part of the reception was all I really cared about.
I wanted my guest to dance and party all night.
I wanted a DJ that would interact with the crowd and get things going.
I thought that is what I hired.
Let me begin by saying that I did not get that friendly personality that I hoped for from the very beginning but I overlooked it because I can kind of be over the top and not everyone is like me.
So the reception starts and I asked for 2 things within the first 10 minutes and was immediately shut down and kinda put in my place.
One was that i wanted to do the daddy daughter dance sooner than the time line said and yes I had my reasons.
I also asked that he turn up the volume but was then told no because it was time for the guest to eat. (I did finger foods and not a sit down meal for a reason) (we wanted to party)
We specifically asked for 80/90 dance music and only 5–10% slow songs.
After the first hour of nothing but junior high slow dancing my guest began requesting songs and was told NO that he would play what he wanted.
Then comes the bouquet toss.
In the microphone he tells my girls to move because if they bump his equipment and break it then they buy it.
I felt he could have said something else in a much nicer way.
He was flat out RUDE
Once my husband asked him for a request and was told NO and then heard the guest complaining he tried to fire him on the spot.
Our wedding planner gave him an ultimatum... play what they want or go sit on your car.
He played line dances that i asked NOT to be played but once he finally played our dance music the guest danced all night.
We never did the dollar dance which was on our list nor did he play my one special requested song I had for my husband.
If he would not have been paid 100% up front there definitely would have been some taken off of his bill.
We did NOT get what we paid for at all.

Greg was responsive to questions and very helpful. We were originally going to have DJ Reece as our DJ for our wedding. He was absolutely great, very flexible and easy to work with to help us have a seamless party. Unfortunately, he had to cancel 2 days before due to unforeseen circumstances out of his control. Reece and GGC immediately got us a replacement DJ, Jim, who stepped up and did a great job at our wedding. Which was especially difficult as it was a bicultural wedding. Clearly did not read the updated profile after I emailed that it had been completed. He played my old wedding song that I had selected first instead of the updated one.
He did not notify anyone of the bouquet toss or the bubble send off for the wedding. I ended up having to tell my guests myself. It was kind of embarrassing considering I spent $600.

Greg was awesome! Everyone at my wedding had a great time dancing and loved his music. He was able to help supply uplighting to my reception hall and supply the speaker system/music for my actual wedding ceremony.
I couldn't have asked for more and his prices are affordable and reasonable.
I do have to say, the most memorable moment was when all the guests left the reception hall to line up for the sparkler send-off outside. Greg and my husband had planned a private dance between my husband and I to "At Last" by Etta James and that was one of my favorite moments of the entire night. It was incredibly personal and I absolutely loved having that special moment away from all of our guests to focus on the happiness of that day with my husband.
You can tell Greg loves what he does and it shows in his work. I highly recommend him.

Greg with GGC was amazing as our DJ. He made the process very easy and was extremely knowledgeable when creating a timeline. He was responsive with questions and needs.
