My parents and I visited Get A Clue Room Escape earlier this week as a part of the "Escape the Valley Challenge" that several amazing escape room businesses were participating in this summer. Get A Clue was the last one on our list. Just like the other 15 rooms we completed this summer, Uncle Thaddeus' Attic and the Toy Shop were absolutely fantastic!! Both of these rooms go back to the fundamentals of fun in escape rooms with intelligent, playful, original puzzles and intriguing, immersive stories. The clue delivery system is especially fun and whimsical, I don't want to spoil anything but they definitely put smiles on our faces. Additionally, there are quite a few wow moments due to the ingenuity of the puzzles, some we had no idea were going to happen. At this point my family and I have completed 20 + escape rooms and we had so much fun in both these rooms and will defiantly be bringing some more family members to experience them.     Also, the owners are a wife and husband team who seem like wonderful people. Fortunately, our games were monitored by Butch, one of the owners, and he was absolutely amazing. Extremely friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to work with. Even as experienced gamers we really enjoyed his break down of the room and puzzles afterwards. The explanations and mini lesson was really informative and exciting; honestly, he taught us some new tricks we either forgot in our time doing different rooms or just had never seen before.     Highly recommend this escape room! We did the Uncle Thaddeus' Attic for a friend's birthday.It was alot of fun. The puzzle I felt was just the right amount of difficulty, and the dude watching the cameras was eager to help if he saw you struggling, but if you didn't answer the phone, he wasn't pushy, for us at the end he tried really hard to hint us through because we were so close. We barely managed to finish with 22 seconds. I honestly don't think we would have finished if he hadn't of helped.We had loads of fun, and I definitely will be coming back here to try the other room. We went there tonight and did the toy story room. It was very interesting and challenging but I appreciated how Pam and her husband were always there to give us a clue or advice if we got stuck. This escape room was awesome! We on a girls night out with my sister and our mom. This was our very first room and was curious. we will definitely be back to do the other one we did the toy shop one. This escape room completely blew the socks off my son’s 13th Birthday party! All of his friends are never going to stop talking about it! Most escape rooms do not allow children under 14, but this place welcomed our 11-13 year-olds with open arms. They let them be kids, and turned this into such a fun experience for all of them. The kids explained that each of them were completely involved in solving the clues, and they were all very proud of the fact that they made it out (with only a tiny bit of help). We went yesterday evening our group of five adult...i figured we Got This...i spoke to soon because uncle Thaddeus's attic kicked our butts it was made for the more advanced escape room players. The room was great non the less a challenge, interesting, and gave us excitement to wanna come back for sure to beat it. since we're all Newbies at this i wish we had more time...lol our percentage of beating the room was 30% we were not even close to half that made for a good laugh and left us wanting to come back for sure. the owners and staff are super cool and informative about the rules, i look forward to new rooms if they open more. A super enjoyable escape room with a fantastic owner ! I played Uncle Thaddius’s Attic which is the more challenging room of the two offered as a group of 4. Although this is only the second one I’ve ever played it’s my favorite currently ! What made it better was how passionate the owner was about puzzles.
