A well kept secret in the heart of Astoria, I was there for a business meeting. The broccoli soup was sublime and my entree was superb. I would thoroughly enjoy returning very soon strictly for pleasure. More...

Very nice ambiance gives me the feeling of old Hollywood. Perfect for date night intimacy. The live band was amazing. I love music so to eat and listen to the jazz playing is awesome. Speaking of eating the food there is on point and delicious and the drinks are well made and refreshing. The price is reasonable to the service, food and entertainment provided. Would go again! Came here after visiting the museum of moving image and so glad we happened to came across this gem. It was happy hours and we sat at the bar. I believe Sarah was our bartender and she was super attentive to everyone who sat down and I was quickly amazed how she made all the cocktails. We had a few glasses of Sauvignon Blanc with our half dozen oysters. They have this amazing honey peppery bacon that is made in house. We were not hungry but saw another party ordered a grill cheese sandwich which we knew we had to get as well and didn’t even take a picture before digging right in. It was crispy and buttery with 5 different kind of amazing gooey cheese. While we were there, we witness a couple getting engaged, a big party was arriving and the live jazz band just starting for the evening dinner service. More...

Such an amazing place. I go here whenever I have something special to celebrate. But it's also good for a date a even solo dining. Live music (evenings), great atmosphere (Old Hollywood), food is amazing, and unique cocktails. It is expensive but totally worth it in my mind. Will definitely be back. More...

Favorite happy hour for their $1/oysters and good mixed drinks. It's in a cellar, which has an old school vibe. Cool for what it is, though sometimes I miss the natural light. Dinner is good, but not spectacular. More...

A very nice chill place to have a date or enjoy cocktails and live music. Went here for a birthday celebration and it was great. I reserved through another app and was greeted promptly by the hostess. No lines. The drinks menu are okay and typical of any slightly posh place. Menu is limited but they are amazing! Ordered the beef stroganoff; gf went for the scallops with risotto. Both were amazing! And then our servers went out with a soufle lava cake singing happy birthday. The jazz live music is nothing short of astounding. Greatly recommend this place. More...

The staff are very warm, friendly and professional. The venue is very nice, it really does harken back to the days of the old movie studio, though not as big as I thought. When the entertainer is playing, she was very talented, it can be a bit loud. So, if quiet conversation is on your agenda, it's probably not the right spot. The crowd was pretty diverse and well dressed for the most part. The oysters were great, plump, fresh and ice cold. The Scottish salmon was spot on and the beef Wellington was excellent. My vodka martinis were perfect. You should check this place out, you won't be disappointed. The outdoor seating looks like it would be very nice when the season is right. More...

Our family of 7 went to Easter brunch here on April 1. We had never been before their recent renovations, so do not have comparisons. The space was lovely though- classy in a casual, vintage way. The jazz singer was a great touch for a Sunday morning. It was a little loud, but not so loud that we were shouting across the table (even sitting right next to piano and speakers). The service was good- very helpful and on top of things. We are enjoyed the extensive choices on the prix fixe menu- you get a lot for $35. Food was OK, but definitely would have been better if it was hot enough. Most members of our party had luke warm food, including the item listed as "hot donut holes :)," as well as all the egg dishes. We would come back and hope that the food will be brought out just a little hotter/better. Thanks for a festive Easter brunch! More...
