I had a terrible experience with them and their customer service. It’s a long story that extends the length of my two year engagement due to COVID but I would personally avoid them at all costs.
The most important piece that I want to provide is that they did not provide the quality video that was promised, they admitted that it was poor and not their usual quality, and still refused to provide the full refund for the video. Their answer was to provide a partial refund and try to have me sign a confidentiality agreement so that I would not be able to provide a review. As I thought that this was an atrocious way to do business, here is my review.
Initially we signed an agreement with them for photo and video for our wedding with a second photographer. When we signed, they told us that we only got to choose the photographer that was available on our day based on their portfolios available. They told us that the videographer would be chosen by the photographer. Down the road, when COVID came, we had to reach out to customer service and get our date changed. This was the beginning of the nightmare. Initially we were assigned an agent but during this time (and apparently until today) they were never consistently available to speak with us. This resulted in numerous phone calls with NUMEROUS agents who we had to explain our situation to every single time. While it is understandable that this was a busy time, I wanted to continue to work with them as I felt that this was just an unexpected situation that no one really knew what to do. That being said, they would not allow us to select another photographer until we resigned with them on our new date. I thought that this was completely unreasonable as why on earth would you want to sign with a completely unknown person who may or may not have your style of photos? But, against my better reasoning, we signed after much deliberation and too much frustration. After signing the new agreement, we were fortunate enough to find Erica Harrison. She can be hired independently and I would highly suggest her. Outside of Erica, we were randomly selected a videographer and a second photographer who Erica had never met and had little contact with before the day of. Both the second photographer and the videographer were late, at least 30 minutes. The videographer was incredibly incapable. He was very unresponsive before our wedding and only really responded the week before our day. We requested a drone for parts of our video and he said that he had the equipment and was able to do it. DURING the ceremony though, it plummeted into the lake and disrupted my walk down the aisle. Even then, he said that he still was able to get some footage. We have never seen said footage to this day. On top of this, he was argumentative with Erica (the lead photographer) and actually lied about footage that he supposedly “already took”. If this wasn’t bad enough, the footage that he was able to get was incredibly unstable and shot at a terrible angle. Now I am unsure of whether the videographer or George Street themselves are to blame but my vows were cut out during either the editing or the video itself. After all of this was brought to the attention of George Street customer service, they were ridiculously unresponsive to the point that it has taken 4 months on top of the 3 months to get the video in the first place for me to finally give up. Their “best” answer was to give less than half of the video cost and the unedited video in retribution. When this agreement was decided, they sent a confidentiality agreement for me to sign. I thought that this was the most atrocious thing they could have done and what finally pushed me over the top to the point that I no longer can try to work with them and instead want to make sure this review can reach others so they don’t have to go the same thing and can find a company of VALUE to shoot their special events.

George Street was the perfect photographer for my wedding. They made everything so easy, and the packages they offer are great deals.
We had photo and video and we paid the same amount for both that others pay for just the photos. Our photos came out wonderful and our photographer was extremely nice! Our videos also came out perfect, we love to watch it to relive the day and have the same feeling as the day we were there! In one of their packages, they also offered a photo album, so that was also nice to have! George Street is very professional, and they are absolutely amazing at what they do!

Our videos also came out perfect, we love to watch it to relive the day and have the same feeling as the day we were there! She did not just take standard pose pictures, but candids as well, and made sure to incorporate all of our families and friends. She also had a fantastic knack of finding really cool backgrounds for our engagement session in particular. Would absolutely recommend George Street!

We were referred to George Street by a family member. Our initial interactions with the consultants were great, the provided adequate and detailed information in a timely manner.
After reviewing the portfolios provided we decided on Kristen as our primary photographer. Danette was assigned as our 2nd photographers and Tyra as our videograoher. Kristen was amazing to work with during our engagement session and very patient as we were working with our 3 year old. She was very receptive to my vision for the day of our wedding and helped me through planning the timeline to make sure we had enough time for a first look, bridal party and family pictures.

They also said that they could re-edit pictures and that an investigation into why the communication with me was so flawed from the beginning as well as during the follow ups.
For full transparency, I requested them to not contact me again as it was too painful to re-think about the situation and they did issue a partial refund for items that were not delivered within the time range or to the standards of the contract (it took almost 3x the amount of time hashed out in their contract which was a maximum of 3 months)
If you were to work with them I would suggest to constantly try to communicate with them. Have someone during the ceremony check that the photographers/ videographers have clean lenses and good camera equipment.
I do not know if this was bad luck or just post-COVID-world wedding mayhem but I do not wish for this to happen to any couple and they claim to be fixing the issues through an investigation on their side.

Gary was punctual, polite, gracious, friendly, funny, creative, and patient. He made us feel so at ease, we had a lot of fun and were never nervous.
